Alas, the scammers as there were (previously) and will remain, without this can not go anywhere. The question is more about how much each of us knows about security information, etc.

I can give some sound (to me) advice.

- Do not connect your wallets anywhere;
- Don't click on links. Do not download files unknown to You;
- Do not trust the first people you meet.
- Do not use little known sites for buying/selling.

I would like to add some information as well, if you really want to be safe from hackers as a Bitcoin investors then try to open a cold wallet instead of hot wallet or custodian wallet. A cold wallet is much safer options than a hot wallet and custodian wallet is the worst one in the list.

If you really want to be safe then go for a cold wallet on a separate system. A cold wallet is sufficient enough to save you from those hackers. You can write your private keys on paper is save it in a safe place.

That's why we must choose realistic projects only, don't choose the projects that looks too good to be true.

Yes, I agree with you, this topic is very useful and in such topics as this should be written more, because often people lose money without realizing that when they invest they can always lose money because investing in anything does not give 100% guarantees that you do not take risks.

As you can see, this thread is about the scam. Not hacks! Hackers are a different kind of scam where the hacker gets their money even without their permission. But, when it comes to other forms of scams like Ponzi schemes, cloud mining scams, and bitcoin doubler scams, the user sends their funds to scammers with the hope of doubling their money within a short period.

So, they need to know more about how these scams work. Using a cold wallet does not help them understand which one is a scam and which one is not a scam. OP is blaming Bitcoin for such scams. But, he should know that scams are everywhere. Not only in Bitcoin.
