Two consecutive losses for Crystal Palace now. This is why I don't trust smaller team to keep their position at the top half of the table with a lot of matches remaining.
I expect Liverpool to bounce back from their loss in CL as their key players are rested somehow.
Man City should be an easy pick but odds are low at 1.16
Man United have a tougher opponent but worth a gamble at 2.02.
The core troubles with small teams is that, once their talisman is out injured or suspended; the entire team struggles with creativity and this is exactly what happened to Palace, they were unable to stand or rise up to the heat as Newcastle created chances upon chances. A deserved win for the magpies.
Liverpool struggled at brighton, and no amount of excuse from Klopp would excuse such bad performance; everyone gets injured one way or the other; it should not bring excuses. The complaints about VAR is equally baseless.
Mancity did their best against burnley; and bullied the team to a 5-0 victory; this is something Pep team are fond of doing and it is good to see them do it over again; it remains to be seen if they can kick on from there.
Manchester united has indeed being inconsistent but i see a comfortable win at the Southampton ground; Ole and his boys will be out to proof a point ahead of the home clash against PSG. With Ings missing action; a comfortable 3-0 victory for Man UTD seems realistic
