We've already seen this kind of scenario before where bashers of bitcoins and other cryptocurrencies turned out to be "supporters".
I say supporters because they ended up acquiring/launching cryptocurrency exchanges or started developing/launching their own coin.
These scenarios actually strengthened the claims of many that these known traditional investors were simply spreading FUD so they can get in at cheaper prices or so they can have a competitive advantage once they launch their own.
Next time you hear the likes of Warren Buffet tells something negative about crypto, better think hard. You do not wanna fall to their FUD scheme and sell in panic.

We can't be 100% sure about other critics becoming supporters in the future but based on what had transpired already, that is likely to happen also. Sooner or later, those critics will just have to accept that they'll be making deals or transactions payable in cryptocurrencies.

You have a point. Some bashers may continue to bash crypto but they can't prevent its mass adoption.
