Title: ICOs and their crazy/funny/ineffective ways to keep the price up
Post by: ZionRTZ on March 22, 2019, 07:38:06 PM
Can you name some of them?

For me, one ineffective way is the delaying bounty payments or distributing but locking them for months. It's all been proven now that this method does not work as price continue to decline despite restricting the bounty rewards.

Another one I observe is the constant shilling of admins on telegram or discord to convince their community not to sell their tokens. Usual lines like "sell now, regret later" "hodl, moon soon"

There is this one cryptocurrency exchange that has been considering to move to another blockchain because some of their community investors and hunters dumped on them. I find that a waste of time and resources, they can't control dumping once their token hits the open market.

What exchange is this?

Yea, must of these projects are not serious and are  just giving excuses of bear market conditions for inability to distribute rewards but they could not meet up their sales expectations. Some failed to meet reach soft abd hard and many decided to lock reward hoping that they could used IEO options or extend the projects to several round bounty sales.
In addition, i think some projects are quit succeeding and rewards are distributed despite bear market.
