Can I take topics from sections and translate and publish them in other sections or is this contrary to the rules and if it does not violate I must mention the source or not

From what I know, if you are only translating that will be okay since it benefits those who does not understand other languages. As long you are not making the same topic on the same section then you are okay with that.

As far as you don't publish the same post on same section, translating it to other languages/section is not a violation of rules. Endeavour to add the original post link.

To my own understanding, I would prefer you add linkbto the source that you translating so as to be free from the accusation of plagiarism.... It's a good idea though..

This one is right, citing the source where it came from is the real way to prevent plagiarism but also as much as possible always ask for the original poster for the permission to translate their content and post in another board or forum

To the best of my knowledge I must say this is a very great idea and it is not a violation of the rules and regulations of the forum as long as it is not in the same section but also don't forget to add the link of the original post.
