Title: Is "Crypto Winter" truly over?
Post by: @Royale on April 06, 2019, 03:35:24 AM
Have you checked Coinmarketcap lately? Everything's green. Such a remarkable sight. Bitcoin and other digital assets spiked to fresh multi-months highs within several hours on Monday and managed to settle at new levels. That spectacular price growth was just unbelievable. Bitcoin is still above $5000 level and looks like it's staying put. Altcoins demonstrated similar momentum. Dormant bulls seem to have woken up to mark the beginning of Crypto Spring. Is it really?
What could be the reason behind all this? Needless to say, i really do not care of what took place, who, or why. I am just so happy with all the positive things surrounding the crypto world nowadays. Aren't you?
Will it be safe to say that our dilemma is finally over?

Those months of BTC moving sideways from $3K to $4K must have been too much to many of us that we find a spike to $5k in a short time as unbelievable  ;D

That surge resembles those of December 2017 ($1K increase in one day) but I'm still cautious to say that we're out of the bear market.

It is difficult to say, but so far we have seen that manipulators can raise cryptocurrency market at any time without any problems, but one we should not forget that they can kill market in a matter of minutes, there is nothing to hope for yet, we need to monitor movements in the market.

I think it’s still too soon to say that because Bitcoin still need to test the current price at $5,000, if Bitcoin can break I think that the winter is over but if Bitcoin fail, we will continue the downtrend

What could be the reason behind all this?

Who knows? Maybe there's no need for some good news at all. What is certain is that some people with big funds just started buying some bitcoins again for whatever reason.

Needless to say, i really do not care of what took place, who, or why. I am just so happy with all the positive things surrounding the crypto world nowadays. Aren't you?
I'm glad that it went pass $5K and I am even happier that there's no significant drop yet. Bull trap? I do not know. Better to watch for now.

I think cryptocurrency takes time to see the dilemma of price increases and decreases.
With the Winter, Bitcoin has no influence and only the market can increase and decrease its price.

Yes, yesterday Bitcoin rose in price to 5272 dollars. By some coincidence, it began to grow from the first of April, which gave rise to rumors that it began to rise in price after one of the positive April Fool's joke. However, today is April 9th, and Bitcoin still shows very good price growth results. Therefore, we can already say that the bear market is over and now we are entering the long-awaited phase of the cryptocurrency market growth. We hope that this trend will continue for a long time.

Yes by the look at the current market situation, it appears that bitcoin has actually recovered from the bear condition. I just hope it maintain this trend and hopefully, we may experience a better 2019 even as 2017.

green is very pleasant in the market today, and I am very happy and I also strongly believe that this is the end of the price slump which has plummeted so far.

And after the market greened then the market returned red.
I can't blame the OP, because this is indeed cryptocurrency.

So, don't expect too much with a green market because there is definitely a red color behind the green.

I think that the winter is not yet over, Bitcoin is struggling to test the 4850$-5400$ and I think it should be drop a little bit before it can rise higher in the next bull run

I think so! But still the possibility to back to bottom is there. The market is healthy so I hope this will continue until year end. As we all observe bitcoin is really the leader of the crypto world in his movement all alts follow. We must always pay attention to BTC morethan anything else in the crypto space.

as much as I would like to take a deep breath and think that the bear market is really gone... I'm not there yet  ;D
As someone already said, the positive behaviour is really nice, but such spikes are not unseen or even rare... we need to give it time to be able to tell if the bulls are really waking up

I doubt to say that, but crypto market seems to get better and recovers. However, I still think that the bear market still continues even if it is not too bad as the previous year. I think we can really state that when the market has been 50% recovery.

The fact that the price of Bitcoin has risen from $3,200 to $5,400 and now holds above $5,000 suggests that "Crypt Winter" has come to an end and now we can expect a gradual increase. The Bitcoin price change chart is now very similar to the 2017 schedule, when the Bitcoin price went up.

Don't be too confident in the season because the season always gives different results.
This is the saying from people from the North.

Cryptocurrency does not depend on the season or anything because it is always changing at any time for price problems.

I agree with you. "Crypto Winter", is over. Now, we are in the spring season. I think that next year, it will be the "Summer", with a new All Time High.

Two of the reason I can think of is the so-called Facebook coin, which is about to launch before the end of the year, and second is  Bitcoin halving, making Bitcoin more scarce and there were no bad news about hacking wallet lately, so it's just right thatwe are having a good bull run.

I don't think that Facebook coin, is anything that should be taken into account. Cryptocurrencies, have their strength, because of the blockchain and a network of (mining/minting) nodes that secure transactions. The only reason for blockchain, to be trusted, is the conflicting interests of individual nodes. How can this be replaced by a single entity? If the trust becomes from the company, then it has nothing to do with cryptocurrency. Visa can do the same thing.

Cryptocurrency does not depend on the season or anything because it is always changing at any time for price problems.
It really depends on the market trends and as what I can see right now, the bearish market or the winter is
finally over and the upward trend is really showing a strong movement, these kinds of signs cannot be ignored
because the bullish season for the cryptocurrencies is finally here!

I agree with you. As the trend is positive, I also think the winter is already over. Now, the new trend brings cryptocurrency to a better condition. I see investors become more active in the market and traders can work daily again.

The correction, that happens now, is a very good sign. If they did not happen, we were going to see a bull run soon. Now it seems, that we are in a slowly growing market. I give more chances for the bull run to happen next year.

The process of market recovery is very seen for now. We can really see the progress in the coinmarket cap during some weeks currently. As we see, although now the crypto is still not stable enough and faces decreasing, they actually have experienced big changes with bigger increase. I think that crypto winter as what many people said have been changing.

Yes, if you look at the whole, the cryptocurrency market is now going up. Crypto winter is over. But for how long? I think that for at least six months.

Though many are still skeptical about where the green we are having now is leading us to but I feel it is a new dawn in crypto market. The price will keep going up and that may eventually lead to bull run.

Many people are skeptical about the green color of the market, because they were disappointed because of the fall in prices during the whole 2018, as a result of which many coins died and someone lost their investments.  Now the market situation is much better than it was last year, so I’m optimistic about the future price of bitcoin and altcoins.

I think that the cryptocurrency market this year will grow at a slow pace, Bitcoin will periodically go to correct its course. Such growth, as at the end of 2017, we will not see.
