Have you ever thought of this before?
When I first heard of IEOs from smaller exchanges, I thought they were simply catering to one of the demands of ICO investors which is immediate exchange listing.
Then came the bigger centralized exchanges like Binance, Bittrex, and Kucoin. It somehow made me wonder why would they open up their platform to crowdfunding. Maybe because they also think that the ICO market is dying? If so, then that would mean less new projects. With less new projects, less potential source of income (listing fees).
So in the end, it is still all about the $$$. These exchange are probably afraid of losing one of their major source of income ;D
What's your take on this?

I think many projects provide their token sales through IEOs because most investors are interested to buy with this way. Moreover, if the IEOs are in big exchanges. Yeah, I think one of the reasons is because of fear of failed token sales through ICOs. Since many bad issues on it, investors become less interest.

Can I know it is on what forum? ;D

IEO is a way for an exchange to manipulate the price of its own coin and attract new users to the exchange.
Very soon, this way of investing can bring many problems to the market. Because, as IEO, this service is now in demand, but not enough supply. Therefore, the shortage of "offers" will begin to fill the other exchanges. Among them will be a lot of small, struggling for the survival of exchanges that can help even the scammers.

This is another way of looking at it. It is normal for business people to pounce on an opportunity once it arises and profit from it. I don't know if these IEOs really care about those scammed ICO investors, all they probably want is to have a steady and increasing market.

Now the ICO projects almost do not work. Teams that want to release their new tokens and raise funds for their projects are looking for new ways to raise funds. One of these solutions is IEO - the initial exchange offer, the essence of which is novelty is that the purchase of tokens occurs directly through the exchanges, which must check the projects and their team for prospects before entering into appropriate agreements with them. Of course, let's see what happens, but I don’t really hope for this type of fundraising. He cannot save us from fraudulent projects. I still hope for the upcoming state regulation of ICO projects.

I think IEO is more like a new development of ICO, i suppose not 100% of the potential ICO will be accepted by IEO so there are still rooms for the growth of ICO.

The exchange have invented IEOs for raising funds in order to earn good money themselves because people buy stock exchange token. It's all scam.

Initial Exchnage Offering (IEO) is now popular as one of the crowdfunding in crypto projects. It is coming because it gives more trust tot the investors that they are already listed on exchanges to eliminate scams.

Actually, I'm still new with IEO. But, if the token has been listed on an exchange, it may be more interesting and trusted, right? So, this is why we need to ensure that the exchange of the token listing also has a good volume and trading cycle.
