Do you think it makes sense to buy low-liquid altcoins?
-
The little-known altcoins sometimes give much more profit than the well-known coins included in the top ten or two dozen of the top of the CoinMarketCap table. However, before investing in them, you need to study the project and its team very well, because among them there are also many useless coins and tokens. Some tokens brought profits to their holders hundreds of thousands and even millions of times more than the funds spent on their purchase. You need to know the market well to buy obscure tokens.
-
I also think that coins have low volume. I think it will also be difficult to make a profit in a short time, because now there are many altcoins that don't have better prices this year. So I prefer to hold altcoin with high prices and good volume.
-
unclear how is this?
if you buy a token that is not well-known, there is too much risk, I think it is vulnerable to fraud, but not all tokens

Depends sometime there are hidden gems in the midst of the market. Look what happened on holochain before it is really small liquid it just exploded and then boom one of the top market cap now. Sometime the quality of the project bring it higher. But most arent thats why be careful you might buying a real literally shitcoin.
-
Learning from the events during 2018, I became traumatized to try to adopt a less-known coin or a new coin. Because it was too risky than the benefits.
-
Simply saying - yes but it requires research and even then you can't be sure about any particular coin and its future. New altcoins look more like complete gamble nowadays
-
If you have the funds and is, after a careful research, you believe in the project and the team, it would make sense to buy in those low-volume altcoins. Just don't go all in since it may take a long time before those projects starts gaining attention and investors. It may be safe to invest around 5% of your funds.

I have an altcoin that has never held an ICO and at the moment I am very happy because the coin is listed on an exchange and Coinmarketcap.
There are lots of new altcoins but I need time to do research even though the price is low, I still think about buying.
Low prices with a large number of tokens are always expected by everyone and hope that in the future the price will be good as 10 coins are listed in CMc

High risk, what the problem to buy coins from top100 and get value when market is growing? :)
I have some shitcoins from 2018 with low liquid, useless tokens.

There are a lot of risks if you buy little-known altcoins(billions or several tens or hundreds of billions). Coins with so many coins in circulation are constantly falling. It is also a very important point when buying such coins on which exchanges they are traded and the number of exchanges on which they are traded. If it is 2-3 little-known stock exchanges with a low volume of trade then I would also not advise you to buy such coins. Mostly such coins will then be removed from the exchanges and you will have a problem where to bring out and how to trade your coins
-
I think there are so many people who buy altcoin coins at low prices and coins are not clear, but sometimes such coins can go up in a sudden way.
-
I think it is okay to buy these low-priced coins. We can never tell what it becomes in the future, maybe it can give you big profit, or maybe not. We do not know its future, it is a bit risky, but if you really want to buy these kinds of coins, just be sure to study them first and check them carefully.

Altcoins with low volumes as some investors may tag "low liquid" are more likely not to survive the race on the crypto market. High volumes means the coin has good trading orders and attention on the market, thus it has a considerable demand level which is one of the factors responsible for the survival of the coin. This is one of the reasons why investors must research into new coins in order to ascertain all these factors before investing in new coins.

If you are interested in a coin and have done your research you will normally find out what the best exchange for that particular coin. Normally it will be the the one with the highest volume and that generally means it is more trustworthy.

Of course it is worth it, from the very beginning Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies were too little known, and now you can see where they are and how much they cost, you just need to study any altcoin and its capabilities before you buy it.
-
that's right bro. because I thought that the altcoin had a pretty good future. finally I invested the film inside. and the results until now are still resilient because no one has bought it
-
that's really true bro. because I feel cheated by buying an altcoin that is kept away by the manager. and I've experienced it more than twice, bro. therefore we must be smart in choosing crypto that we will buy either long term or short term
-
Never bought obscure altcoins. All the coins I bought had a real working product,a strong team, constantly developed and were on hearing.
Usually it's coins out of the Top 10-30.

It becomes very unfortunate to read stories like this from investor who end up being cheated or scammed by some projects. The fact is, not all the altcoins are worth investing in and since it is a free market without any regulation to check these scam or bad projects, investors are required to do personal research into these coins before investing in them. Always look out for the product of the project and its demand level on the market, the expertise level of the team, how supportive and strong is the community of the project etc.

I think any project could potentially be considered fraudulent.
-
yes it's true that I also bought coins that were low and unclear, but I was very confident and optimistic that the coins would be able to grow.
-

Yes, only on one condition! The project should be promising and work on its product. The process of the project work must be recorded in the roadmap and observed by the team. If the project team does not fulfill the roadmap plan such a project has no price, such tokens will lie dead weight on your wallet!
-
I once bought an altcoin which was ultimately worthless at all, because it was abandoned by the developers, from that experience I began to be careful in investing, lots of tokens and new projects that had many great offers, real teams but then they ran away. still buying new coins and always doing research before buying
-
if an altcoin or an unclear token has good potential and its movements aren't good, I'd better not buy it so I won't lose my money, so I will choose coins or tokens that have clear potential.
-
I once bought an unclear altcoin coin at a cheap price, like hydro coins but in fact the coin could grow better.
-
Coins that have a lot of supply and have a low level of voting make many investors do not want to buy these coins, I think if the coin is not clear why we should buy it, there are many new coins but they have a clear purpose and I will buy it if the project new and new coins have a good purpose for sales transactions such as E-commerce platforms
