This is the main reason why I investing in them. Crypto are fascinating technology which may change our lives, and I want to support this mostly because of that reason, not because of money which I can earn. So when I choose currency which I'll invest in, I'm looking mostly on their ideas for future. Good contact with community is also important, that's why I support coins which put much effort into this, like FuturoCoin (https://futurocoin.com) or Dash.

Yes many altcoins are a good buy especially those one who have working product or privacy coin project like veil that rose more than 15% few days , no ICO and limited total supply

If you can choose the best one and even in the bearish market and it can survive. I still believe in my altcoin that called a veil. it's a privacy coin while at the same time it can be considered as a POS coin but it's also using POW too. Veil used hybrid system to create a fair ecosystem to make the blockchain of veil being truly decentralized. we are still believing in altcoin as long as it can be trusted like veil.
A lot of things already observed before we decide to believe in an altcoin.

I don't just believe in altcoins, I believe they are better than the big three (XRP, ETH, BTC).
Altcoins are creating a lot technological advancement and they are trying to offer more benefits than the big three. An altcoin I recently started following is Veil Project. It is a privacy coin that advances Zerocoin Protocol to offer private transactions with basecoins. I have learned from my experience in crypto that development isn't everything. Marketing is important and the guy behind VEIL also created PIVX. With PIVX, he did mainstream advertising and managed to get the coin to boom. He obviously learned from his mistakes and that means he can do even better with VEIL.
