I must say that i am loosing fate in altcoins. i wonder why it will took ages for these things to get a balance in the market. 90% of all the altcoins i hold plummeted right from the very first day it dropped into my wallet. None has increased in price expect CHT(counting house fund) and AEN. the rest keeps going down without any sign of increasing or stablizing. my next action on altcoins is:
any token not in first 200 coins in the coinmarket is leaving my wallet and i am serious about it.

Unfortunately it will be so, only the most top altcoins that are in the top 100 at least will always try to grow and by investing in them you can know that anyway it will be possible to get profit after some time, but to invest in altcoins which are just starting to develop always is a huge risk.

I am very angry and at the same time sad. I also lose money because altcoins are falling very much in price. very angry that the very famous altcoins which all praised simply fell to ridiculous prices. besides, how much would you buy up yours constantly continue to fall. Before the previous highs they will not soon return :(

yeah I also made a worse choice to go with altcoin better hold bitcoin almost 90% down my alts some even 200% down still looking for pump but day by day dumps my believe in supporting project give me a heart attacks :'(

yeah, its so sad to see that some altcoins can't compete properly in the market since there are a lot of altcoin names turn into a scam, it just shows that people right now are just using altcoins in bad intention, and it hurts a lot because many people who'd like to join crypto will be discourage.

I totally understand you, it's a pity that so many projects are falling down these days. The prices are still falling and the number of altcoins in general is still increasing, it's very difficult to find that one that can go up, and got into top 200 on coinmarketcap. I had a lot of trust in projects like eko, or kln, but they disappointed me. Im glad that i didnt sell my fto couple weeks ago because right now i can have some of them masternodes due to their recent sourcecode changes. The whole market seemed collapsing to me at the beginning of the year, but right now the situation is more stable.

Me too and there are still many others whose fate is similar to yours, that is the fact that has happened and is a warning for us to be more careful in investing altcoins in the future. Maybe choosing the top altcoin is a good choice rather than a new altcoin that's too risky. Your choice determines your destiny, think about it.

It's true and happening to almost if not all newl token in the exchange. I'm not wondering these trend because most of bounty hunters today including investors are immediately dumping all their holding if the xoin listed on the exchange. Further, the current bear market makes the price decrease so hard.

Dumping rate of altcoins are high its obvious because the Cryptocurrency market is made up mostly by Altcoins. But you mean is the top Altcoins listed in coinmarketCap will its defend on the platforms function and utilization.

top altcoin at CMC.
If you trade daily, I don't think you will lose a lot of profits, because when you hold a coin for a long time without seeing updated information, you will suffer losses.
There are already many new coins that you can buy, I don't give you advice, but after the coins are listed on the crypto market, don't buy too fast, see the trade volume of the new coins you want to buy.
if it's still quiet, you can wait for it and don't buy it quickly.

Is like the law of demand is the main root cause why some altcoins price are going down and been dumped because there's not enough demand that could be reason why there Price's are going some people that are holding the coins just want to sell out the ones in there wallet like wise me some of the altcoins in my wallet keep on going but I never lose hope anyway.

its difficult to say to someone what is good "investing’ , I think trading is much more promising, because when you hold a coin specially the ones that are not in top you will have losses. After the new coin is on the crypto market see the trade volume, behaving of the coin, the team behind it aso dont jump at the opportunity…, and buy only if it looks at least a bit promising. I am currently having my eye on a Locus coin. Its ok for now, but a friend gave me a tip. Still sceptic, maybe someone knows more?

now I think this year there are many altcoins that have sprung up and there is also no price to go up, for me now we are also good at choosing coins that have a long future. so we will also get many benefits.

I prefer HODLing the coins among the top 50.
HODLing any altcoins below the top 50 - is too risky.
Unless the altcoin is trending and getting lots of investors, getting a daily increase in value.

50% you also need to believe in potential new coins but we must really understand and know which coins will last or not
if you are not sure, never try a large amount

Altcoins dumping rate its affect by the move of bitcoin every time when the btc will make a considerabil move (indifernt if go up or down) alt will start to going down.

50% you also need to believe in potential new coins but we must really understand and know which coins will last or not
if you are not sure, never try a large amount
you can get burned from any coin, its volatile,everybody loves bitcoin but the most people got burnt exactly on bitcoin investment, so just invest as much as you can lose, even the newest altcoins can make a profit more than a painful loss.. I think Stellar, KuCoin and Locus are the most promising for 2019. Saw them on cointeleraph top altcoins to invest

You must be patient and more careful to analyze the market trend. Dumping is always there now, there are many people do it. I think we should follow it to avoid losses. And never be influenced to sell when they are dumping it.

You are correct. Follow the issues of dump and pump in the market. It can minimize the chance to get losses through dumping/pumping. We can do it to prevent losses, so don't worry about it.

Everyone does feel like that sometimes. Ie felt a loss of hope and confidence in altcoins, especially during the dump rate market. Of course this is very reasonable. However, how can we take advantage of the moment and take the best altcoins. Maybe this will be difficult but we can try it with the right strategy.

Don't put too much hope in one coin, there are lots of coins that we can choose and have potential. If you are an active trader you will definitely be able to see the opportunities and potential of coins that are rising every day that can be seen in the coinmarketcap.

You certainly have experienced a lot of bad things and bad experiences with altcoins. Not only you, I even have many other people experiencing the same thing. Not infrequently we lose faith in altcoins, we think that altcoins are very worthless and scam. This is reasonable because of the many altcoins that failed. Altcoins especially startup projects are very hard to predict whether it will pump or dump. But I would say that if you really believe in the project then its very worth to hold it for long term. Always keep faith in your instincts, thats what most successful person do.

It is not a time to lose hope in the market,cryptocurrency is here to stay that is the most important part,I can also see ETH and Bitcoin growing steady,that gives a better hope in the market.

I am also unfortunately saying that i have lost already my 80% of capital in the altcoins in the last 5 months but in the last few months market is moving toward and that is only Bitcoin. I am very disappointed with the investment in altcoins. If i hold only my Bitcoin, now i can be gainer and my capital would saved. I am loosing hope on altcoins but i will see untill the end.

For the safety reason, it is better to hold Bitcoin for long term investment. I don't recommend you to invest in altcoins for the long term, except altcoins like Ethereum and Ripple. There are high risks to put money on altcoins.

Quiting is a wrong perceptions of most altcoins,
be courageous and hold these coin for the long term, at least 3 to 5 years and see how these coins goes before selling them off. Most coins beyond the first 200 might be do beter than most coins between the first hundreds on CMC. Just be patience!

The market has change back in the right part both bitcoin and altcoins are raising high.. the bull market is here but we with dought. how long will it last. everyone sould make theere move on time. no dulling =. the time is now. act quite because we might go down before morning.

I also feel the same way, I have an altcoin on average, everything I hold is under ICO. but what I'm doing right now is to keep holding the altcoin because I'm sure someday there must be an increasing altcoin. just waiting for time.

This is a case to case basis. You have to follow those projects to have an idea if they'll even have a good value some day. Some altcoins are doing well since they were launched.

I won't follow this strategy but if you find it more effective then go for it. Do what works best for you.

If you look at Bitcoin dominance (the bigger picture) it might make more sense why there has been this imblanace. Bitcoin's market share has risen from an all time low of 35% to 60% this year (+70%), so if you're wondering why your altcoins have lost an average of 40% extra, this roughly explains it.
BTC.D has otherwise been in a wide range from 35%-70% in the past two years, which is very indecisive it seems.

Actually, I am not really sure with altcoins from ICOs. They seem not to be influenced by the increase currently. I think many ICOs have no big achievements in improving their projects or MVP. It is the main factor that the altcoins from ICOs are still no values.

Now from ICO that makes people do not believe and is now transformed into an IEO.
Then the IEO also made everyone now stay away from the word "DUMP" from all altcoins, because the IEO average at Binance was successfully launched on the market.

If you are an active trader you will definitely be able to see opportunities and potential coins that increase every day that can be seen in coinmarketcap. Don't expect too much in one coin, there are many coins that we can choose and have potential. So you can hold some altcoins so that opportunities profit more.
