Title: How does the point system works?

Every members of this great forum makes post and their points increase, and those that are new bies/baby steps which has less than 30 post has up to 700+ points. Is there something am not understanding about the points system, please, kindly let me know. Thanks.

Can you provide here some username profile links of these users? I cannot find any. I found some with 100 points. Thank you.

Thank you for your answer. Here is the quick explanation. All these accounts joined the forum early in 2018. At that time, there was another pointing system on altcoinstalks forum. Points were dependent of the amount of words in your post. Now it doesn't. You get a certain amount of points for new topics, and a lesser amount of points for replies.

So these users have their points from old pointing system.

0 post = Newbie (noob)
1 post = 1 step (noob)

Point systems depends on numbers of activities or post and post lengths and absence of users in posting time. I don't surely know but I guess at more.

Points systems is a robotic systems on forum management. One can't easily describe the points systems mechanism.

I actually don't really understand how the point system in this forum work fully but from what I know I think the point is based on your post or activities in the forum
