Title: Facebook plans to launch 'GlobalCoin' currency in 2020
Post by: Global Gravitation on May 24, 2019, 07:18:45 PM
According to BBC news, social media giant Facebook will launch its own cryptocurrency "GlobalCoin" in 2020. Facebook is planning to launch a cryptocurrency payment system in the first quarter of 2020, which is expected to start testing by the end of this year. Facebook is also seeking advice from officials at the US Treasury and Bank of England Governor Mark Carney about the opportunity and regulatory issues of the initiative, which is internally called "Project Libra." The report said more details about the Facebook encryption program are expected to be announced in the coming months.

Global Gravitation Bitcoin Exchange is about to launch its platform coin GGC (Global Gravitation Coin).

Facebook banning cryptocurrency promotion on their platform in the past makes so much sense now.

They tried to launch something like search engine few years ago yet failed at that completely all together. So I will wait for sure but I wouldn't be that picky anyway about what to expect from them on that matter. Yes, they do ban competitors anyway.

I think that in the version that everyone already knows about Libra, this project will not work.  Anyway, the entire cryptocurrency market is subject to state regulation, and due to congressional warnings, Facebook can change the basic concept of the product.

So GlobalCoin is Libra? They're not two separate projects?
