Telegram has created a new programming language (Fift) for Telegram Open Network (TON) smart contracts and the TON Virtual Machine.
Telegram plans to launch TON in the third quarter of 2019.

I think Telegram's inspiration for creating a cryptocurency is because Telegram is so perfect for the community to be interested in using social media.
There are many cryptocurrency projects that use Telegram media to communicate with their communities.

Quarter 3 in 2019 is very long and I need some speed in developing TON.
In my opinion it should be just now to create TON coins and in my opinion, it's better to quickly register on the Exchange.

It is just a few months away. Why are you such in a hurry? Did you invest?
I would rather wait for them to work and make sure their product really works than having them listen to impatient people and rush things.

When I started to use Telegram for the sake of bounties etc., I thought that this app is the best app for cryptocurrencies :) At the end, they created their own coin :)

Nice that's a great news by telegram, let's see how will that programming language do within the TON Network and how it is different than the commonly used progamming languages I hope it is easier to used too

My attention has been drawn to the fact that tron is trying to lobby most major companies into crypto and offering them free access to tron. quite impressive. binance has launched margin trading and tron was the first to benefit. Now they are partnering with Telegram. we will watch and see how everthing unfold.

Seems that Telegram is creating something much bigger than most of the cryptos, like their own internet. It will be interesting project for sure

I am waiting for further development on this. They were able to raise a lot of funds so it's expected that they'll build something revolutionary.

When TON executes its project well, there will be a massive money will be coming from other people. Millions of users are in telegram app so we can expect to moon the crypto space.
