Title: Satoshi Nakamoto and the Origins of Bitcoin
Post by: troll on June 04, 2019, 08:40:15 PM
Satoshi Nakamoto published a White Paper on the cryptography mailing list http://metzdowd.com.

- On October 31, 2008, In his nine-page document proposed “a new electronic cash system that’s fully peer-to-peer, with no trusted third party”.

He then created the bitcointalk forum and posted the first message under the pseudonym satoshi. He also made a website with a domain name bitcoin.org and continued to work on a bitcoin software.

- On 3 January 2009, Satoshi mined the first bitcoin block called the “genesis block”.

- Throughout 2010, Satoshi collaborated with other developers to modify the bitcoin protocol, and was involved in the bitcoin community and corresponded with them frequently. Then all of a sudden he gave keys and codes to Gavin Andersen and transferred domains to members of the community. By the end of 2010, he stopped working on the project.

Then,

- On Saturday, 23 April 2011, Nakamoto emerged once again only to post his last message. When developer Mike Hearn asked him if he is planning to rejoin the community, Satoshi replied:

“I’ve moved on to other things. It’s in good hands with Gavin and everyone.”

Furthermore, Satoshi’s bitcoin address contains about 1,000,000 bitcoins. In December 2017, when the price peaked, he had more than 19 billion dollars. For that short moment, Nakamoto was 44th richest person in the world! And to this day he hasn’t cashed a single bitcoin.

The man who disrupted the financial system for good, simply disappeared.
But why then?

He was afraid to be known and sought by the mafia for his discovery and he was better off being silent on his privacy.
The basic principle is to defeat centralized power such as the Bank and financial institutions, so I'm sure he wants to keep his privacy better.

Satoshi’s bitcoin address contains about 1,000,000 bitcoins.
Is it true?
Seriously?

Can you give the wallet address link from the wallet that Satoshi Nakamoto has?
Because I was very interested in seeing the full Bitcoin wallet that the founder of Bitcoin had since a long time ago.

I'm not sure Satoshi Nakamoto has 1,000,000 BTC in one wallet, from the information I receive, there are thousands of addresses and if you want to track it,you can browse on Google.I will only give you the first wallet used by Satoshi Nakamoto

This is the only address which is confirmed to belong to Satoshi, since it mined the Bitcoin genesis block:

The website is quite telling in detail about Bitcoin, even Hardfork's results are in the calculation.
I saw the last update of the website June 1, 2019.

This is what surprised me because seeing the Bitcoin wallet is around 67 Bitcoin in Final Balance, not 1,000,000 Bitcoin.   ::)

You have discussed historical development and satoshi's BTC holding value in his/ her BTC wallet. Its amazing that the person who developed and first mined BTC, he never sold any BTC even when BTC touched $20k. Nobody knows why he is silent and in disguised position still.  We are indebted to him for his brilliant inventions.

There's an article I read that the real Satoshi who's alias is Solotshi is in jail so he cannot cash out his Bitcoin, of course, this is still a theory but needs to be validated but the argument seems valid the only reasons he cannot cash it is if he is jail already death or lost his private keys.

I also read it about Solotshi, maybe from the Cointelegraph or from CoinIdol, but certainly Solotshi Nakamoto is just an issue.
Solotshi did not prove himself to be Satoshi Nakamoto and the debate over the TS title is still not over yet.

Of course, Solotshi is not the real Satoshi, it is just a rumor. I believe that Satoshi will keep his secret information. I don't know why many people still debate about it. For me, Satoshi won't tell about his identity forever. It will harm Bitcoin future and his safety.

I think you are right, the debate about the name Satoshi Nakamoto will definitely linger for a long time to come, and we are probably at the beginning of this debate.

The purpose of the reply goal is that my posting is there and you are quick to respond to my initial thoughts.

If a well-known public figure is sure to have many enemies, still remind John F. Kennedy that when he died it was shot by his enemy?
Satoshi Nakamoto also has such thoughts and he loves his life more than Bitcoin.  :)

This is the history of Satoshi and also Bitcoin, very interesting. But, what we concern for now is the existence of some people who declared themselves as Satoshi. Do you believe? Personally, I don't believe. The value and precious Satoshi and Bitcoin will always give us a chance to make a worthier future investment.
