Ever since Bitcoin started becoming the next big thing a couple of years ago, it was expected that dishonest people would try to scam their way into gaining free coins. However, to everyone’s surprise, it wasn’t expected that around 35% of Bitcoins that are in circulation have gone missing because of various criminal activities.
Scammers employ different tactics into fooling people, such as hidden mining, SIM swapping, scam projects and shadow money service businesses with the most common ones being the hidden mining and scam ICOs.
The worst part is that these unfortunate people can’t do anything to get their money back.
