Hi all, i am currently investing in XRP and ETH, but want to invest in more privacy coins.
Do you think it's good idea? Then which privacy coins are the best for investment currently?
-
There is an ongoing attempt for tighter regulations on cryptocurrencies and it might be a good idea to go for privacy coins especially if you really plan to use it. Needless to say, if there are tighter regulations then there will be a higher demand for these privacy coins. Monero, Dash, ZCash, PIVX are just some of them. Take your pick.
-
I think that monero, Zcash are some of the great privacy coins on the market. Investing on privacy coins is not a bad idea, though one downside to privacy coins is that government doesn't like privacy but as an individual investor, privacy coin are good investment anything.
-
Veil = newcomer
Zcash = For Miners
Monero = for privacy + old players
Please choose between the three because I also get suggestions for 3 privacy coins above from my husband.
But my husband has all three of them and is stored in the Dekstop wallet for easier and stronger security.
-
They quite number of privacy coin, and it's good to invest in it due to the safety of the investors, and most of the privacy coin are good except one get involved in scam one
-
Why not to invest in BTC?
You see it's growing.
-
I have no bad experience with privacy coins, cause right now it's a more pleasant part of cryptocurrencies market. The best ones are of course Monero, Dash, ZCash and PIVX. I really like ZCash and right now it's a leading cryptocurrency in a vote for new cryptocurrency which is going to be add on coindeal - an exchange i'm using since the beginning of my crypto-journey, so i hope it will win this month ;p
-
I think eth is a good and safe choice, i would not invest in the ones that are not in top 10 or 20. Really risky times and really risky investments. If we see the bull most are the projects will be profitable. When you pick a project check their event calendars as well.

It would be great if ZCash was available at CoinDeal, I hope that this one will win the voting. For now, ZCash is the first in the ranking

Do we need a dedicated and reliable desktop hardware to drive Monero Wallet fully? I see its blockchain size is very large and the process is very complicated.

On the other hand, some countries including France really hates privacy coins and want to restrict or ban them all. It is kind of a dilemma.
I suppose the best privacy coins are Monero, ZCASH, Dash, Komodo, and Bitcoin.
-
We all know that the government are not friendly when it comes to privacy, but the traders and investors in the crypto ecosystem love privacy. Coins like Zcash, monero, Dash and PivX are some very good privacy coins to invest on. Zcash is one with high potentials and profit oriented to all its holders.
-
I think that's a very good way to use to buy and invest in ripple coins and ethereum, and besides these coins you can also buy TRX or litecoin.
-
I think privacy coins are best for investment people to want privacy and privacy coins will be the game changer in the future. Especially new projects are looking really good with alot of features. You should check "Ryo coin" which is a project from the well-known developers of XMR-STAK and it has solo mining features its wallets are really advance and easy to use. And it has higher Ring Size with bulletproof technology to provide better privacy to users. You can check more details on their website I hope you won't regret it.
-
if you invest in both of these coins you are not mistaken, because I strongly believe that the coin is very good, and if you want to invest in other coins, you should buy ltc or trx coins.
-
I think my puck anytime any day will be Zcash. Price is going to rise much higher in the coming years
-
There are dozens of privacy coins but very few provide real privacy. It is very important to find out real privacy coin for that you need to do your own research to check if a project has a good developers team and good chances of growth then we can take it for sure. I think these are some of the best privacy coins zcash, monero, ryo
-
I think Monero ,Dash ,Zcash are best privacy coins to invest because these has a strong community and big trading volume. But l'm prefer to Ethereum.Because ethereum is considered the most promising than other altcoins and it always giving more profitable.
-
Monero (XMR) stands at the top of the list. This cryptocurrency's popularity has been on the rise, primarily due to its ability to help anonymize users. Also Zcash (ZEC) grants participants an option to shield transactions. It allows participants to transact without any of them revealing their addresses to the others.
-
Xrp really a perfect coin as a privacy coin . I think you should be look at tron and Eos also .
I already invest a good amount of money in Eos coin because there is highly chance that its price touch a good value .
-
I don't think you need another coin. Just focus on investing in both. Even if necessary, you trade in both. This year is a good year for trading. and you can profit even from only 2 altcoins.
-
I used to think that Zcash is the most secure coin in the market, but today, I have tried to learn a bit about the Kepler project and a bit more about how to create blockchain security.
They use Confidential Transactions (CT) = Native CT + Contract CT, currently there is a better option: Confidential Assets (CA) = Native CA + Contract CA.
Do you know which projects currently use the best CA?
-
Hi all, i am currently investing in XRP and ETH, but want to invest in more privacy coins.
Do you think it's good idea? Then which privacy coins are the best for investment currently?
You can find more information from coingecko and coinmarketcap. You can invest chainlink and Origin protocol.
-

I see Coinbase as a highly secure platform, always considered a safe place to choose Bitcoin as a store that is trusted by many people
-
Binance has a very easy-to-use interface and is favored by many investors because of its good security, low transaction fees and high liquidity. Therefore, Binance is an ideal place for you to choose to store your best Bitcoin.

Trezor works with many currencies and acts as a password manager, two-factor authentication device and other useful features it provides several protections against lost passwords and devices are lost, but you should learn from the sad lessons of others and make sure that never happens.

There are many privacy coins in the crypto market. Monero, dash, and zcash are best privacy coins. Privacy coins face many problems in many countries because These coins transaction are untraceable. So it is your choice to invest in these coins.
-
I think only Monera is a real privacy coin. Even Ceo of Dash, for not being delisted from Coinbase, said Dash is not a privacy coin :)
-
Monero is a good coin to invest. It has a great potential to grow and it has a huge trading volume. Therefore definitely you will get a good profit from long term investments.I have some monero and I'm hold it.
-
Monero and dash is popular and powerful altcoins Monero is a biggest privacy altcoin it has huge trade volume so this coin is in 25th place in the cryptomarket lot of investors using this coin for investments as well as dash coin is 45th place in the cryptomarket if you want more privacy to your transactions these coins are always best.
-
There are some privacy coins in the the crypto market. Traders feel easy and comfort to use privacy coin but government discourage it. Some people choice xrp or eth privacy coin but I think monero, dash and z cash are vey credible and trusted privacy coin.
-
Privacy coins are very much safe and potential though government do not support it like other crypto currency. Many traders are holding privacy coin for safety transection. some think xrp and etherium are safe for transection but most of the crypto traders think monero, dash,z cash and pivx are the most reliable privacy coins.
-
Best privacy coin to invest, only I know is Monero it's a good coin and good for long term investment. There are many privacy coins but only Monero that I find it good to invest.
-
If you care for your transactions being ultimately private, I consider Monero the strongest. Don't invest in it for a juicy return - It is a useful privacy coin
-
Some new(ish) ones to consider:
Iron Fish
PryvateCoin
Veil
-
Monero, zcash and dash are best privacy coins to buy now. If you start buying these coins this situation is a good situation because the crypto market is still rising. So I hope to get profit from this coin soon.

I agree monero , zcash and dash are good privacy coins..
I personally prefer invest in Monero.
XMR is my favourite private coins.
It's more popular than zcash and dash.
-
Monero is more popular than other.
I think it's the best.
By seeing the rank, Monero at number 31.
We all know many investors also use XMR for their private transaction, as many people know.

Yeah, Monero is the best privacy coins, Monero has good logarithm.
Monero team has shown good progress to create this coin.
I see many people opinion always said Monero is the best of privacy coin and secure.
Maybe it will be the King of privacy coin for several years again.

Why not to invest in BTC?
You see it's growing.
Privacy coins have their use cases, the people who mostly use it do so because they can make private and anonymous transactions that cannot be traced, they don't really invest in it for just returns. You can also buy BTC and also use privacy coins when you have to; i.e. you can use BTC-xmr-BTC swap to anonymize your coins and make it very hard for blockchain analysis companies to trace your tx.

Yeah, people used privacy coin for their transaction not for profit.
We know several people prefer used private transactions, can't be tracked and always anonymous.
The best privacy coin is monero XMR, many people used it.
They said it's useful and really privacy

Yeah, if you use xmr for your transactions, you'll get a high level of privacy and anonymity, that is why xmr is always recommended to people who want to use privacy coin. Take note that there are some websites that may list some privacy coins above xmr, i.e. websites like coinmarketcap, ignore such lists as it is clearly motivated by something else other than privacy.

Hi all, i am currently investing in XRP and ETH, but want to invest in more privacy coins.
Do you think it's good idea? Then which privacy coins are the best for investment currently?
There are many privacy coin to consider like. Horizen is a privacy focused cryptocurrency that uses zero knowledge proof to keep it transactions confidential . In the other hand bean is also one among them, it's a privacy coin That uses mimblewimble technology that protect it users privacy and give insurance to anonymity of transactions.

Seeing various news about Privacy Coins being removed from centralized exchanges, this means that one day there will definitely be a DEX that specifically houses these Privacy Coins for trading.
Binance, OKEx, as far as I know, have removed privacy coins from their markets, as a result the price of privacy coins has plummeted and many are being sold.
Currently I don't have the best personal coins because many CEX markets have removed them, apparently this is due to new regulations from the SEC.

The best platforms to trade privacy coins should be in p2p or decentralized exchanges. Centralized exchanges are data farms, so using privacy coins in their platform is kind of ironic, however, i think the liquidity of privacy coins should rise in p2p exchanges, because i believe that is where people should use them to begin with.

CEX will follow government regulations, because several countries have started to block privacy coins and prohibit their citizens from using these coins. Because this regulation makes CEX delist privacy coins. You are right, maybe DEX will be the home for coin privacy

The government will always be against anything they cannot trace and control, i believe the reason why many countries have not banned BTC is because it is not anonymous. Its blockchain is transparent and public and they have chain analysis companies that can help them track addresses, utxo's and tx's.
However, privacy coins is different, they are anonymous and the government cannot trace their tx's, this is why they want centralized exchanges to delist them from their platforms and hence limit their trade.

CEX has a regulatory body that governs it. So they are responsible for everything there, so if Iligan activity is conducted in a CEX, the company has to take responsibility for it. Therefore CEX is not interested in listing privacy coins. Other than XMR being a very old coin I haven't seen any other new privacy coins doing well. I don't understand why many people are more interested in investing in privacy coins when the whole crypto world gives us privacy. Holding crypto in a non-custodial wallet means that no one's personal information can be extracted through a public key.

Monero and dash are the best privacy coins for investment and transactions. Monero is the best. It has big market cap and popularity. It is listed in popular exchanges. I used several times these coins for transaction and investment.

I beleive that you already leave XRP since 2019 its not working that good up to now right?
https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/xrp/ this is enough reason for you to leave this support and maybe maintaining in Ethereum because I believe that the incoming release of Vitalik Book late this year or early next year?
but asking about the BEST PRIVACY COIN? its your preferences mate to what to buy and trust .
-
Monero and dash are the best privacy coins for investment and transactions. Monero is the best. It has big market cap and popularity. It is listed in popular exchanges. I used several times these coins for transaction and investment.
For me it's Monero no question about it. The US government is even offering bounties on whoever can break Monero. So it means that they are really afraid of Monero because of it's algorithm, it seems that it is really resistant for now and they keep on improving as they keep one step ahead of the game and from the government. But because of this, only a few exchanges are allowing Monero to be listed on them. Because almost all government wanted Monero to be ban. So again, it's best but you need to be technically incline to be able to move it somewhere and then convert it to fiat in case you needed it.
-
Monero because of its inherent privacy features.

Monero is a very popular private coin used by those who prefer private transactions. If anyone can crack the monero algorithm, they are great. but until now I haven't heard of anyone succeeding. Sata also sometimes uses monero for transactions, although not often just private transactions.

Hi all, i am currently investing in XRP and ETH, but want to invest in more privacy coins.

I would not recommend testing coins that are only anonymous because these coins do not have a large community that will advertise it, it is better to invest in more popular coins, even if you just buy Bitcoin or Ethereum, it will bring in invested only in moments that are considered anonymous.
-
Investing in Monero offers several key advantages. First, it provides privacy and anonymity, ensuring untraceable and confidential transactions, which is essential for those valuing financial privacy. Additionally, Monero has a strong community support that actively works on its development and improvement. Its scalability, with features like RingCT, allows it to efficiently handle growing transaction volumes. Monero is also decentralized, meaning it's not controlled by any central authority, which enhances its resistance to censorship. Lastly, there is a growing demand for privacy-focused cryptocurrencies, driving adoption in various markets. Overall, Monero presents a compelling opportunity for investors who prioritize privacy and decentralization. What are your thoughts on investing in XMR?

Privacy coins will remain one place as long as there is no adoption and since government has seen then as illegal thing to used, even exchanges that ar top has unlisted them from there exchange which means traditional institutions wouldn't even know about such coin existence as they would even see it and even promoters wouldn't waste their time for something that wouldn't bring them traffic.
If only the government would allow people protect their privacy with what they want, everywhere will be fine but they don't want to listen to the good side of privacy coins, they prefer the bad side.

Many have replied in this thread that Monero is a safe and good privacy coin, but what does privacy mean? Isn't every cryptocurrency private? So it can't be seen by others, only those who have the private key can access the coin. Or what is the simple difference between Privacy coins?
-

Privacy in crypto means keeping transactions and user identities confidential. Most crypto are pseudonymous. While your real name isn't linked to your wallet address, anyone can see your transactions on the blockchain. They can't see your private keys but they can track or trace transactions back to your identity.
Privacy coins are designed to keep users anonymous. They use technologies that hide the identities of the parties involved, the transactions, and the amount.

Have you tried visiting Bitcoin block explorer? You can see all details of transaction, such as sender address, destination address and amount sent. But if you try same thing on Monero explorer, you only can see TX fee and stealth/decoy address which can't be used to track.

See, Monero's privacy is so complete, that even if you wanted to show someone your proof of payment, you can't. It is the ultimate privacy coin.
Granted, there are use cases where that is not desirable, such as when you're paying someone on the books. In that case, other coins will do. (such as bitcoin.)

Monero is hands down the best privacy coin we have today, and it's going to be even better soon after they implement FCMP++ or full-chain membership proof++
This update significantly enhancing transaction privacy by boosting potential outputs from 16 million to 100 million!
Here is more information about improvements with this update:

Yes. As you can see, you can't see the amount sent. As for the sender, you see there's only 1 input, but many public key listed. It means there's only 1 real public key, where the rest are the decoy.

Personally, I would not invest on Monero. It's not that the coin is bad or something, but it was the crackdown that the government is doing and so it's hard for the price to go up when every government around the world or at least some of them wanted it to be removed in some exchange.
And I would tend to agree that Monero is the best privacy coins, and you will have to move some for better privacy but that's it. But not good as a vehicle and call it investment material.

Yes, indeed Monero is the top privacy coin available at crypto market but now most countries including US is against Monero and that's why exchanges like Binance has delisted it. I guess, it's not possible for someone to crack the monero as it's going to be toughest job for anyone.
Those bounty programs may be there for a long time before someone finds a vulnerability in Monero and even that's not like to happen anytime.

XMR has been very popular in the crypto market due to its anonymity, and it also has the largest market capitalization among privacy coins. However, we have more options now without encountering problems with governments or CEXs.
According to Coinmarketcap's list of privacy tokens, I see that ROSE is also a privacy coin, even though it's just one feature that Oasis can provide. If I were to choose a privacy coin to invest in, I think I would choose ROSE because of its developing ecosystem and popularity in crypto media.

XMR is almost as stable as stablecoins themselves, so you should not be investing in Monero with the intention of making a profit, because that is not happening.
You should be using at as P2P currency like it was always designed to be.
@dkbit98 this FCMP++ thing, the executive summary is that it increases the number of inputs and outputs inside a transaction? That's what it sounds like to me (I didn't check links).

Yes, it increases privacy for Monero a lot, but it is also more resistant to attacks like it was happening with ring signatures.
I am not expert in Monero coding, but they are saying transaction will also be much more efficient.
Another change is possible layer-two solutions for Monero with payment channel protocols.

Many have replied in this thread that Monero is a safe and good privacy coin, but what does privacy mean? Isn't every cryptocurrency private? So it can't be seen by others, only those who have the private key can access the coin. Or what is the simple difference between Privacy coins?
As a matter of facts, Monero being a privacy means that it's transactions are untraceable from one user to another. Monero coin sent from different wallets, for instance, the records of these transactions can't be traced to the receiver. Most people like doing business transactions in private, and this is one of the reasons the privacy coins like Monero, Zcash, Dash came on board the crypto space.
As may you know, these privacy coins are no longer popular as it was in the last 6 years is because most governments of the world hated private transactions, and they are clamping down on them especially in the US. France, UK etc.
-

Someone said: BULLtime of XMR is coming :)
So far from my experience in the crypto space I'll say the most popular privacy coin I'm fully aware of is monero. Monero has quite a nice number of adopters as well as a nice price (value) too. Anyways I noticed that it can be somewhat a little difficult to get especially on centralised exchanges . Infact many of them have monero on their black lists. With that being said I think so far Talking about a coin with a very high level of privacy compared to many others,I think monero wins it.
However I wouldn't call bitcoin a private network that much in that bitcoin is a very transparent network and it's a little easier to track down coins on the network compared to monero. Bitcoin wins decentralisation but I guess monero actually wins privacy.

But unlike Monero, Zcash privacy feature is optional where only few people use shielded address. Meanwhile, Dash privacy is only as good as using CoinJoin on Bitcoin network. Dash team/developer also trying to claim their coin isn't private when exchange begin to delist privacy coins.

Only a small percentage of people are actually using shielded addresses, and there are other things that makes me not trust Zcash.
If this same technology was introduced in Bitcoin maybe we would have better results and more people using it.
There are few other smaller privacy coins like Prate Chain that have improved privacy, but they are mostly centralized and have low volume.

On the other hand, some countries including France really hates privacy coins and want to restrict or ban them all. It is kind of a dilemma.
I suppose the best privacy coins are Monero, ZCASH, Dash, Komodo, and Bitcoin.
Mate, hope you take a closer look on your list of privacy coins, Bitcoin is not on the category of privacy whether by the SEC or other security agencies of many nations of the world.
In addition, no matter the threat from various countries on these privacy coins, there will still exist some of these notable privacy coins that will survive the strict regulations. Zcash, Monero, Dash are potential coins that will continue on the crypto ecosystem in the future. my opinion

Bitcoin is not a privacy coin, maybe he said it wrong.
in my opinion Zcash, Monero, Dash are good privacy coins, although some countries are starting to reject privacy coins but privacy coins are still good for transactions.
There are several types of investors, some like to use privacy coins for transactions and some never use privacy coins, it all depends on their needs.

Dash is not really a privacy coin, and you can have a bit more privacy with Litecoin new mimblewimble address format.
Bitcoin is not privavy coin but it has biggest volume of all coins and you can still use different mixers and coinjoin to have more privacy with transactions.
But monero remains the king of privacy coins.

I think that monero, Zcash are some of the great privacy coins on the market. Investing on privacy coins is not a bad idea, though one downside to privacy coins is that government doesn't like privacy but as an individual investor, privacy coin are good investment anything.
Privacy coins are quite ok however some people actually don't make use of it because of the difficulty that arises when you try to swap them to othe tokens or altcoins and Even fiat. Like a couple of users here have also mentioned, privacy coins are actually banned by most exchanges especially centralised exchanges because of government regulations and restrictions.
To a nice extent I actually prefer to make use of bitcoin more because of the restriction gap that comes with transacting with privacy coins. Yes some decentralised exchanges offer swap services from these privacy coins to other coins but they aren't much and you may not be pleased with the rates.

It is good to diversify your investments even among several altcoins but among privacy coins I honestly only recommend monero at the moment

Monero is indeed quite good as a privacy coin, and dash is also a second choice. I have both. but not in large quantities because for me privacy coins are not potential coins for the long term because some countries are against them.
I prefer coins that I think are safe like bitcoin and ethereum

Yeah, the clampdown on privacy coins does not in any way deter the project, i still believe strongly that privacy will continue to strive harder against governments interference. I know that privacy coins may continue to have a dwindling liquidity on the market, but this will not stop their uses or existence, and very crypto enthusiast will continue to own them in the future. Monero, Zcash, Dash has the capacity to remain strong on the crypto market.

privacy coins will still exist and be used because there are investors who prefer to make transactions privately. Maybe they think that transactions in crypto are safer using private coins.
I don't invest in privacy coins because I don't need private transactions so far. And indeed the liquidity of this coin is decreasing because many governments are against this coin.
