I think that this mail is a pishing attack >:(.
Am I right?
The message said:
Integrating Your Wallet to the Casper Network
The Casper Network hard fork is likely to occur very soon. Please ensure your wallet and all its holdings are prepared for the Ethereum network fork to avoid loss of Ether and/or tokens. This must be done before the hard fork occurs.
We have set up a Casper node to allow holders to integrate their wallet before the hard fork occurs. Please closely follow these steps to integrate you wallet to the Casper Network.
Integrating Your Wallet
1. Enter MyEtherWallet's Casper node here: http://www.myetherwallet.com/casper-network/#view-wallet-info
2. Ensure in the top right it says 'Network: Casper ETH'
3. Unlock your wallet
4. Click the dropdown in the top right that says 'Network Casper Eth' and change it to the second option down 'ETH Etherscan.io'
5. Please forward this email to anyone you know who may be affected by the hard fork.
All Done! Your holdings will now be present on the main network and Casper.
Wait, WTF is Casper?
Casper is the new consensus strategy that Ethereum will run on once it is implemented. Casper uses the Proof of Stake (PoS) algorithm, which requires much less computational power to find the correct block. Proof of Stake differs in a way that nodes place a stake, similar to a security deposit to validate transactions.
Switching to Casper will allow Ethereum to scale in order to handle the network usage we’ve seen in recent months and in the future.
