Quick Question
I just signed up recently.
When I was trying to upload my first new topic..I was unallowed to post the topic with external link...can anybody answer why i am not allowed to post new topic with external links ?

Barring newbies from posting external links is a measure implemented by admin to lessen spams in this forum since we've had many of those in the past.
Try to engage with the community first and reach the next level.

That's a good thing but something I missed too.
Might be handy to have it in a thread linked to in the sign-up email. I've been searching for 'why' for a good 20 minutes. Though I appreciate there's a lot to link to and read up on for new arrivals!

Maybe there are other limitations that go quite unannounced? For example, in one thread I read you need to be Jr Member to post links in signature, some account settings seem to "unblock" at 10 posts... what else? Could someone please specify which "options" each new rank gives?

That is because you need to post more than 4 post dude before you do the things just like what you want it to do.
Because as I can see with your rank, your not capable to do that unless you reach at least baby step in rank.
That's the rules and policy they have here.

Actually I feel that the main reason why you are not being able to post a topic with an external link is simply because you are new here because there are some restrictions placed on some low ranked members, so for you to be able to make such post you need to keep posting to increase your rank.

Altcointalk forum don't allow external links when you post a new post or topics.
