When a certain model goes out of favor, something new comes out. In the case of token sales, it started with ICOs then comes STOs. A few months later, some people are rushing to join the IEO craze. Just when I thought I've heard it all, two new models came out. Just today, I read about STEO (Security Token Exchange Offering) (https://www.ccn.com/press-releases/dreamr-and-latoken-announce-first-us-security-token-exchange-offering/2019/07/03/) and OEO (Order Book Exchange Offering) (https://medium.com/@ETERBASE/worlds-first-oeo-a-great-success-cda41b66004f).
I appreciate the effort of these people to bring something new to the market but all these looks the same to me. Just a change in how it's being packaged.
What do you guys think will be next?

Its my first time to know about the order book exchange offering. It seems that people now are getting or finding some ways to revive the hype in the token offerings. It must be a good indication so that people can have the trust to invest again in this kind of market.
-
Is takes place as a result of process, for a new project it with ICO Which is initial coin offer to further process to STO security Token Offer and the likes
-
I think they are all one and the same as they are all geared to entice the populace towards its acceptance

The types of crowdfunding may be developing again. So far, I still prefer to IEO and ICO. But for the next? I don't know and have no idea about it. WHy there should be many types again of we can maximise using it? Of course, because it needs some corrections in order to gain appropriate crowdfunding.

If I am not mistaken, I have also heard that the name is IEO on the Binance DEX with the first coin, Raven Protocol, if I am wrong then I have heard the information wrong.
I honestly never noticed these names because there were so many types of crytptocurrency, even for the EThereum network I was still learning.

You're talking about IDO - the D stands for Decentralized exchange. It's just a different form of IEO though but much less popular.
Back to topic, STEO is just a hybrid of STO and IEO while OEO with different pre-selected tiers can cause hype under good marketings. However, I don't find much innovation in these two new types. I don't have any idea of upcoming new forms of token sale either. Good project doesn't necessarily need a noisy fancy token sale to be success.
-
These exchanges will always try their best to get the attention of investors. The interest in IEOs is dying and with the recent exposure of the unethical practice of IDAX, they need to come up with something new.
-
It depends on the project. I think if the project is solid the token sale type wont be important for me. IEOs are popular and ICOs are losing their hype right now. I think new forms will be here, I think IDO would be the best...
-
The volatility of the crypo its because people invest in it, because of speculation not because of its usage. ICO and IEO has both pros and cons. But I still prefer ICO first, then proceed to the IEO later. IEO is quite expensive and exchanges are making more money because of this.
-
I have never thought of it until there because I am also still studying in cryptocurrency.
So many types of tokens, coins, trades and types of coin launches.
I admit that I am very confused to learn IEO etc. Maybe more precisely I am still learning to continue to be in the world of cryptocurrency.

You should read more for cryptocurrency because reading can raise your mind's rating and can add insight.
Suppose we also need to be able to analyze for all of the differences between IEO, ICO, IDO etc. sale tokens.
Moreover, your rank as HERO, maybe you better continue to learn about crytpocurrency and get used to reading.

Yes, recently we have seen many types of token sales like - IEO (Initial Exchange Offering), STO (Secutity Token Offering), STEO (Security Token Exchange Offering) but we have been seen only ICO in the last few years.
-
Well the team behind the projects are just adaption on the situation of cryptomarket, they will come with the new ideas to collect money.

well, there is much to that which you are yet to see. I have seen IAO too although I am yet to know the meaning of it. But I love the fact that new innovation are coming in place to solve some problems
-
i can tell you that what we are seeing now is the real change and diversity in the crypto world. this is necessary because the scandalous acts of scammers can really affect markets and investors. therefore trust is needed for this business to thrive.
-
Very informative and helpful post.. i never heard it before..but now i get your point..

They are just regularly changing the name but for me its all the same form of crowdfunding. litterally people are buying the tokens, in speculative way that in the near future the token will gain more price just like other in the market.
