What I consider here concerning the issue of bitcoin and Facebook Libra project bitcoin has been existing before Libra project was announced and the US government has the damage that could be because of the person behind the Libra project I think that's why the government of the US are kicking against Libra coins because is going to be a global currency and it could affect the use of dollar, but Libra cannot do without bitcoin because Libra coins is going to be tied to bitcoin.

I never think Bitcoin won't be under pressure even if there is a lot of negative issues on it. Bitcoin has accustomed to such situations. And finally, Bitcoin can still survive and improve its value. So, I believe that Libra and US governmental issues won't give bad impacts.

Libra may give the influence to BTC price, but the influence only effects for a moment. The news of Libra ensures people for the future of Bitcoin and crypto future. It is like big support from a big company like Facebook that wants to create Libra coin.

I think many of us here are just anticipating, some positive on the yet to be Facebook's Libra coin outcome. In my opinion, Libra coin may not influence bitcoin in which ever ways anyone might looked at it. Actually, I think Libra's rejection from the US government has some specific effects on the whole cryptocurrency market. It's not directly on bitcoin but cash flow withdrawal from the market indirectly affect bitcoin's price. Imagine if Libra got approval from government, huge money will be poured into market, bitcoin and altcoins would simultaneously increase. Everyone wants that scenario to happen.

I don't see bitcoin under the influence of libra. And I don't see that bitcoin has anything to do with libra. Libra stands alone without affecting bitcoin. So I don't think there is any connection between bitcoin and libra.

As a matter of fact, Bitcoin has not come under any pressure from Facebook Libra project: bitcoin has soared in the past without any big project like libra announcement, and i think that bitcoin has come to the point where it can not be influenced by any popular project new start-up.
If you are following up activities on the Facebook Libra planned launch, you may notice that even the US President's tweets couldn't crash the price of bitcoin plus other negative news making around about libra. Infact, bitcoin has gotten the capacity to fluctuate in prices based on the it demand and supply rules and certain speculations.

I do not think that the Libra coin will ever appear at all. After a recent report by the G7 working group and the Bank for International Settlements, in which Libra is called a threat to global financial stability and the monetary system, this will probably kill this project permanently.
If Libra had appeared, then it would have pulled back a portion of the funds and Bitcoin would have been less used as a means of payment.

First of all, we don't know what Biden stance towards Bitcoin will because he seems to also affect by the previous Twitter hacker attacked but with Libra crypto introduced, some of the government don't see Bitcoin as a threat like they see Libra coin which is the reason the US and EU government are against the creation of the Libra coin but the team involve seems not to back off either way.
Let keep our fingers crossed until we fully understand the new President's belief about the whole issue.
