I agree with your opinions about the ethereum has good potential alternatives coins for long term investment because ethereum mostly projects of smart contract and decentralize application dapps are built on ethereum blockchain, but in my own personal portofolio of investment in cryptocurrencies especially for small amount of capital, ethereum is too expensive than another cryptocurrencies especially for the projects related with cryptocurrencies. So i choose the ICOs, IEOs projects of cryptocurrencies they have real of businesses, real of legalitation and the most important. There are chance my money to be more biggest in coming future than just make investment in ethereum for small amount of money.

We have a lot of choices of good coins that we will use for investment, we just look at the list of coins that are in Coinmarketcap, select coins ranked 1 to 20, those are good coins and worth holding in the long run to get profits in the future.

I advise considering only for Bitcoin and top altcoins with high volumes for long term assets. Those coins will be safer than you hold new altcoins or some coins with low volumes. I have already experienced holding some coins with low volumes. They tend to end to be dead coins or will be hard to raise again because of too many pumps on the market.

I think going for that many probably is too much unless you have seriously giant budget. I will keep my stocks around options like ETH/LTC and few others. However, I really don’t mind going for some Upcoming ICOs (https://cryptolinks.com/ico), as they not only have huge potential but also are a lot cheaper as well. Base on CoinmarketCap my choice was Ripple (XRP) its worth to hold since the price is not that high to purchase with just a limited amount but it depends on each individual choice but for me its XRP.

I think it’s very obvious that we should be going for top options only instead of new ones. I at least will prefer to go for that route to be able to benefit through.
