A long term project is a project that has good MVP and its coin are always improving the values day after day. Or top altcoins with high volumes and become the favorite coins to buy by many people daily. While for the short term, I prefer to consider altcoins that can easily increase daily.

A team of developers who are always active to continue to support and develop their coins to answer every question in the Telegram or Email group.
With this kind of interaction, we can see that altcoins are very real protected and developed by the team, so it's like a word not left behind.

in my personal opinion, a short term for me is that, it is only applicable when you are trading frequently just like a short term hold and when the price is up by 5% or 10%, you will just sold it and Long term future for altcoin is that you study very well the project and the solutions they make and invest it and leave it there for a number of years until bull run.

I see that short-term trading is better to use with altcoins that have a difference of around 100-200 Satoshi.
For the long term it's easy again with the price of millions of Satoshi like the BitcoinCash and Ethereum.

This is my experience with altcoins that have just been developed as a result of ICO who have a rating of around 100-200 Satoshi.

~snip~ How do you differentiate a short term project and a long term.

Sorry, bruh, but I'm a bit puzzled. Your question above I think don't match your subject, "How do you identify Short term and Long term future ALTCOINS". Well, anyway, I'll just answer your question above... actually, there are many factors to consider, but I will only give you one, yes, just one, and it's about the capitalization of the project.

I'm sure you're familiar with the Initial Coin Offering (ICO) Hard Cap and Soft Cap... well, I don't know if you'll agree with me when I say Hard Cap means the maximum amount of capital that the ICO project aims to gather, while Soft Cap means the capital amount gathered during the crowdsale, and it's the minimal amount of funds needed so as to continue the project as planned.

Now, if an ICO reaches its Hard Cap early then the phase of the project ends early, right? Whereas, if the Soft Cap isn’t reached then the project will pause, close and/or shut down, and if it's an honest project they'll return all the raised capital to the investors, others don't, they simply run away.

Can you now determine which is long term or short term?  :)

When a project has a new idea and is different from the others, I think for the long term it will look good if you choose an altcoin whether it is good for long or short, because the ICO and IEO make the first choice for the carrier to raise funds, then you can see the project what's new is good with the products they have, I will also see altcoin from many things and it is difficult to tell which altcoin is good for long-term or short-term

Definitely, altcoins have differences, between the crypto for short term and long term investment. Commonly, the short term investment may be the crypto that has no real product, but it has great trading volume so that we can use it for daily trading cryptos. And what I commonly choose for long term investment are the coins or tokens that have real products, application, and also real utility in the future.

Long term projects are those who have a team that dedicates their full efforts to provide the best of their products than it be, non-stop development and marketing other than getting listed in exchanges, the focus should be in different angles not focusing on just one thing.

For me, to identify the best altcoins for long futures should include:
1. The solid and professional teams that create the coins
2. Great products to release in the future3/ Strong community channel
and many more that can hire many more investors in the future and this coin has a good prospect for the future investment.

High volumes coins should be the long term assets and the coins with low volumes should be short term assets. It is quite easy to differentiate which one is for a short time and wich one become the long term. Their volumes on coinmarkercap can be one of the reasons to identify them.

Exactly. Solid team that delivers the roadmap, plus good partnerships on the road. This is the formula to success in long term. But in short term, limiting the supply and releasing news kinda works.

In my personal opinion i think thats is true, because most of the listed tokens in the market today has not any true usecase that may create future demand most of it are shitcoins that has faked deformed and twisted promises with only one reason thats why it was created to steal peoples money.

Now all the cryptocurrency is down and I am sure that at this time it is right for long-term investment.
Then if altcoins are expensive then that's where for short-term investments.

The reason is very easy and simple, if the price above then the price will definitely go down and must be sold quickly, if the price below will definitely rise and it must be fast to buy.

I have no special ways to identify for short term or long term assets on altcoins. I just pick the most popular altcoins up and never think to buy new altcoins. I assume the popularity shows that people believe in the altcoins for long term. While for altcoins that only work with dump and pump, it is only for short term.

I don't assume huge banks are about to be cooperating any time presently, however up and returning solutions still arise. There are crypto card producers, many banking solutions, and different payments services. Safety is #1 in crypto, of course, and that we have to be compelled to notice a more robust storage resolution than Ledgers and different cold storage wallets (for market risk purposes).

How do you differentiate a short term project and a long term.
Well i always choose the alternatives coins which has good experience in couples years ago and do analysis fundamental of cryptocurrencies ( the progress of the projects, the team of behind of the alternatives coins) for long term investment, because on those coins i have chance to getting alot of money in couples years later.

I make investment in the top Ten cryptocurrencies or i choose the alternatives which has up trend for short term investment usually in  trading alternatives coins because they have big capitalization of marketcap after the bitcoin, it is mean i have good chance to getting fast profit in couples weeks.

I think thats true and you dont need to be an expert before noticing it because it was visible, most of the coin/token that already listed in the market has not yet totally developed and bring the roadmap and those written on its whitepaper into reality. thats how we know it all just unfullfilled promises.

A long trem project tend to have huge impact on their entire community, investors, participants and the general users. For instance, a project might be instituted to analyze a long-term problem that affect a company or society and the project team are require to make sweeping changes from time to time. This will engege the project team to make great effort for continuity and consistency.
A short term project may have a limited impact on its products. For example, you may initiat a project for a specific problem or sitaution and once that is solved, the team may disbands.
