women in crypto is for the community of women that would feel more comfortable to discuss issues with other women
i see no harm in having a small section dedicated to the women in crypto.

Well, some of us have been raising that gender issue in crypto a few years back. I also don't know why but I guess some women just feel better when they see more women in forums like this one. I think there is even a group called Women in Blockchain.

Indeed. As long as no harm, why not to have it. Moreover, it can be a kind of our appreciation to have them in crypto space.

I'v seen a lot of forums,

No need to compare our forum to others. I assume each forum has its own policy.  ;)

And what is the real problem?

And what is the real problem?

Probably misogyny? Blockchain development being a male-dominated industry (https://www.entrepreneur.com/article/337647)? Maybe women are just bored of being patronized by men (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mansplaining) who claim to always know better? It could just be because of the GitHub cases of sexism (https://www.theverge.com/2014/3/19/5526574/github-sexism-scandal-julie-ann-horvath) from some years back. Either way, women are looking to "shake up the industry" (https://bitcoinist.com/women-are-looking-to-shake-up-male-dominated-crypto-industry/), that's what you should be aware of at least. Hope that partly answers your question anyway  ;)

There are quite a few remarkable women in crypto, by the way. Emirex founder Irina Heaver is one of them. Well, and I myself am a woman, too :)

I do not see why do they even distinguish men and women in crypto. There is nothing suprising if a woman is a great crypto expert, I mean you are not surprised when you see a man stylist.

The reason why there are not many women in crypto, is that the topic is not popular enough yet. Increase crypto awareness and women will come.

Well, most women don't always have that keen interest in anything that generally required much personal effort but rather, they are more in things done with assistance. This is the reason we don't always have many women in big businesses that requires some certain efforts and that has some risks. They are the "weaker vessels" in all things but needs encouragement and assistance always.

There is a separate crypto discussion Broad for the female community. But can the male talk in that discussion broad? Women do the same thing in women crypto. Or different?
