Can a successful project be built just on hype? In recent times, I have seen multiple projects Like Pieta Coin (https://pieta.network/) which became instantly popular due to a lot of hype which was created around them, but in fact, not all of these products are worth the attention they get. Then, there are other projects which are actually worth our time and money, yet investors choose to ignore them because of the lack of hype. Am I right about this?
-
is that really HYPE? what if because the project marketing is good, so it makes the project successful?
maybe you can give an explanation of what the project is?
because very rarely the project is successful because of HYPE, if indeed the project is successful, I am sure it will not take long, because I believe that the project is successful because HYPE does not have a strong foundation.
-
projects are built with many important aspects that will maintain their existence in the market as well as user needs. if HYPE makes the project known then it is only temporary and will disappear
-
the foundation of project success is market action and reaction, without it there will only be a beginning without sustainability. HYPE can be created but this is not good for the crypto environment which will add to the long list of failed projects and make investors afraid to come
-
Of course, this happens very often, because when bitcoin grew to 20k$, then there was a huge hype around it completely everywhere, but bitcoin certainly has its own incredible capabilities and technologies, and many other cryptocurrencies grow in price due to the hype and when the hype ends, the price of these tokens quickly drops to zero.

Initially, it can get a major boost and probably get owner running towards the bank with happiness, but that does not mean it guarantees the success for the project. As that’s something which is entirely different ball game and it’s 100% down to potential. I prefer to invest only in Upcoming ICOs (https://cryptolinks.com/ico), as I feel that’s the route to set right in order to really benefit through. It’s not possible to go anywhere otherwise at all.

Successful because of hype? Even if it is possible but I doubt it will survive a long time. The point should be on the quality of the project and the team members. If the project can be hype because of its potential great future, then the hype will help the project to have strong support from the community. It can last longer and continues to improve. While if the project relies on the hype only, I think it possibly ends soon.

Yes, I also think that the support of society is not unimportant

Hypeing a project is also part of marketing. new start up spends milliions these days to hype their project. it is a strategy that have come to start. if you really has a geniune project and with hype, you will succeed. if you failed to hype your project. the tendency for such project to succeeed is 50/50
-
A great project should be built by serious efforts from the team members. The products must be potential and marketing strategy is appropriate to attract people. This can not be run by hype, investors know which projects are promising and which one is not. Hype cannot determine the quality of a project.
-
active community contribute to the success of any project. in order to be successfully, certain steps must be taking to entice the public about that projects. but there are some projects that are surely potential but lack of their active memmbers keep them mute in the society.
-
Maybe, iota got hype when people started telling that they had partnership with Microsoft, price rised a lot and fall after all truth, but now project is alive, maybe it for long term
-
Not every project that hype works perfectly but it only looks like is successful but in a blink of an eyes it will disappear so successful project at times depends on the commitment of the team that's handling the projects it most not rely on hype alone to be successful, without a good marketing strategy the project may fail on the way.

HIVE is just like boasting and it won't make these altcoins last long in the market.
I often see this in cryptocurrency and it is very painful for penadgang because they are often stuck at high prices.
Believe me, HIVE is just a fake call to trap.

Can, if right people put in some good shilling on this project, possible pump will happened on that project. You know how people tend to buy in some news right, then will complain later once the project got rekt and failed. For me, altcoins can just passed through every time and it will happened again every time. Maybe some will strive but mostly will died out. So dont stay much loner on some alt rspecially those high hype projects. A true enthusiast know where to put his money and in hype projects isn't a good deal for you if youre planning to bet a one time risk.

I think thats not the main criteria to become a succesful project, Although that in some instances hype is also important to gather some attention from the prospected investors but all in all it has an important contribution to become a succesful ICO project if the purpose is to gather more funds.
-
Every projects need some level of hype either good or bad. We must be able to create some hype around our project in order to be able to attract community to the project. So a project that will be successful also need some hype.
-
I think the hype will not last in the long run, about a few months later a scam. So the investors are not interested in hype. It could be after receiving a large investor, within 1 week immediately scam
-
I heard a lot of projects like this in 2018, but I wasn't interested in investing in new projects like that.
Hype does look good for someone novice who isn't familiar with crypto, good information makes new investors immediately buy more altcoin without seeing the products they have.
I don't expect altcoin price increase due to hype, but I really hope altcoin which has real products will definitely have high prices in the future

Yes, you can make a project popular without a working product. The deception is that these projects usually have good advertising, that is, marketing works great. Therefore, they quickly gain popularity, and then, as they collect a large amount from investors, they disappear without a trace.
-
I think projects built on hype are only for a moment and then slowly erode. just succeeded at first. then who knows where.
projects built on hype certainly have successes and failures.
-
Using hype to sell projects/products is to gain people attention that particular products is good and also selling but is going to actually sell for a while it could be for a year the interest of people may just drop because at the initial time it was much booming because of the hype, for me successful project should not depend on hype alone.
