To write a few lines of code it cost more than building an entire application, why that ?
-
What, really? Can you give us some examples? Because then I can get by just by writing solidity, lol.
-
Go ahead and PM me if you need someone to write a code in solidity.

Pm gan

In my opinion, there are two main factors: (1) Lack of professionals with expertise in Solidity; (2) The amount of capital raised through ICOs. There are a couple of great projects that demand lots of Solidity devs raising a bunch of ETH. On the other hand, there are fewer Solidity devs than spots available. I personally believe that the projects must also contribute with the ecosystems they are inserted in by creating meetups / events, creating the local communities, and providing knowledge for free to anyone interested. Swapy Network's team (http://www.altcoinstalks.com/index.php?topic=2195.0) is actively engaging people locally through (https://www.meetup.com/Ethereum-BH/). Do anyone see other factors?

WOW! It's interesting topic. I don't know about that! If so, I wanna code solidity. I heared that it's just like JS. So it's easy in my part because I am a JS programmer.

I think this is nothing new. Solidity is something you have to learn first to code. There were no developers or programmers at all besides Vitalik few years ago. I think today is only few people who understand fully solidity and can code in this language. If something is rare people value this very high. that is why developers using solidity are so expensive because there is only few of them who are really experts in that field.

I think its simply because its rare, and not know by the large populace. When it becomes very popular, its expence will drop.
Where can I get to know more about this Solidity.

It may be due to Less number of People available with Experince. So there is Huge demand for Solidity Developers.

Solidity development costs are varied. For inexperienced or freelancers off forums such as this the prices are low, but there's no guarantee of quality. When hiring from consultancies or known developers the costs are notably higher. As the skills to develop smart contracts becomes more widespread the costs will go down.
In part the costs are high because of the rarity of available skills. The developer base is still growing and those seen as trusted and experienced are few in number. Therefore if you want to get your project done with confidence, you're going to have to pay what feels like a premium right now. There's also the issue of liability if ETH is lost through bad coding or a hack. Companies can't sue the little guy, so they hire companies that are more costly but that can a) be taken to court if losses occur and b) don't get the project manager sacked for hiring unknown teams.
