Heads up to all android users out there who loves to download applications on Google Play. There's a lot of apps that's infected with malware there that are aimed to gather data from your phone. Any information connected to your crypto wallets or bank accounts will be used to steal funds from you.

It's not surprising that many phone users would easily trust applications just because it's on google play. If I had not been involved in crypto, I could have been on of them. Thanks for the heads up anyway.

I don’t know how Google play skips fraud applications. This is a huge network, how can you be so neglectful about this.

There is no perfect system, so take care before the disaster occurs by always installing an antivirus, and do not carelessly surfing the browser!

thanks for the heads up. most people trust these apps just because they are on google play and assume google might have done their job of offering a virus free and good app. people need to be more aware about these sort of things.

Nice list +1. I haven't heard of any of the apps but good to know they are not to be trusted.
This is a good example of how using mobile apps aren't as secure as they seem.

Thank you for sharing this, i also like to download apps from the playstore althoughi do check the reviews first and other permission/ access the app was about to require before downloading any app, i am not sure only or knowledgeable how to spot apps with malwares or viruses.

What do you mean by this sir? does all names there in the OP have no malwares or virus at all? I think even how secured the google play store are still some bad guys who use to put and modified the app and put some external links or buttons to go directly in the malwares or virus without noticing it. because my friend who is working in a cybersecurity said that not all apps in the google play doesn't guarantee its security and some of it stole data's and password by putting some additives ,hacking , virus, malwares for them to have a control on ones mobile phone after all.

Yes your friend is right. There are apps that are dangerous on the app store so you shouldn't just trust anything. I was saying that google do take the bad apps off so something is being done about it.

Thanks for the warning. Too bad Google didn't install more powerful protection and doesn't check apps.
They check only at the stage of entering the playmarket, after that after a while you can fill in anything with the update.

Camscanner was my favorite app for document photos, not long enough it got malware and Google removed them right away. But now this app is back, is it safe to use again which was affected earlier?

google should do something about this problem cause this was a serious matter. Stealing someone identity was always a serious problem and they should banned the used of that app asap.

Why not there is a safe way to do this and I keeping some of my tokens and coins on my phone wallet app. I think it depends on the app that you are using if does have some malware or very strong virus that could steal youre info.

OMG!! This is really a very important awareness comment. If i need any apps i download apps without any tension because i know that play store apps are secure but here your comment really surprised me. From now i would be careful about those apps.

Thanks for the information. For how easy it is to get apps approved onto these stores it makes sense the hackers would make that a focus in order to gather user information, credentials, etc. Just shows with crypto we always gotta be on our toes and know what you are downloading at all times!

I totally agree with your statement, such malicious apps keep running on background and even can hack your passwords.Make sure that the app you are downloading has positive reviews and is secure.

There are some app that steals your private information without your consent, same as app that act like Trojan as OP had mentioned, you will just notice that your phone battery drains faster than expected, perhaps its a sign

A very vital point for everyone to take note of. Recently, the popular cryptocurrency multichain wallet "Trust Wallet" got cloned and uploaded on Google play store and a lot of persons unknowingly, downloaded it and have since been using the fake and cloned app. Problem is, they may get to realise very later and probably, they will have lost their valuables and assets when that happens. Always be careful in this industry guys, it is very necessary.

lot of this applications doesnt exist in google play but the users download it fron an externel source then they got hacked or their information got stealed by the owner of the application , thats why i dont trust in externel sources .

Its not new, have many Fack and Useless mobile application on Google Playstore. Just time and Internet waste. I installed many application on the past from Future, but after installing when i Open some apps then i see have many problem on some app and Some apps are totally Useless.

Maybe because you downloaded a fake app, you should look at the app's reviews and how many people have downloaded before installing

don't think those apps are that simple. It can retrieve your personal information as well as your credit card at any time. You should be careful about it

Not necessarily. I am an android user, and my external storage can reach 500 Giga bite. And using phone is actually not hazardous. Well, I'm just sharing what I know. And about apps in google, almost all of our application is actually are from google play. So what is important is that we just need to protect our accounts. Dual authentication is also important.

Sometimes many fake and valueless projects application are advertising in Google play store. A few days ago Google play store advertising/premium UNISwap fake application which are a scams apps. Please be careful about scammers.

I think the vulnerable are those who always love to join in airdrops that require them to download the app and then that airdrops after a month the project is in trouble. This could be just past of their game to exit while the information of the participants are stolen.
