The much anticipated Bakkt Bitcoin futures trading will finally commence on September 23. Will this lead to another Bitcoin bull run?

I'm not if you have seen the market reaction since bakkt was launched. If you haven't, let me tell you that it's not what many are expecting. It appears that big traders sold on the news which has lead to BTC just above $8K. I personally believe that it will recover next month and be back to five digits but I can't be certain of that.
