Today, most guys that work with crypto associate DApps with Ethereum. DApps are the applications that are resistant to most hackers' attacks, and the blockchain is the basis for them. They can be even used in gambling and gaming like in the case with Tera Foundation https://terafoundation.org/. Tera Dapps are cool for business connected with Smart Contracts, and for trading as well https://terawallet.org/dapp/20#TabTrade. They work on JavaScript, and not on Ether.

I would like to see more applications on this platform. Their dapp 86 (ShadowBank) cryptomixer is impressive.

I think that as more projects want to become ethereum competitors, we can see TRON which currently has a good volume in the crypto market, then Waves.
More and more new projects using smart contracts will make it easier for investors to choose a platform that can provide them with many benefits in the future
