I'm confused. Are you asking if it is a good idea to have another language or if Solidity is a good language to use?

As it is the only one in use for now, its the best option. Or do you have other plans in mind?

It is way better than 'go'. I don't know if you have seen the "smart contracts" of hyperledger in their private networks but for something which you will write in solidity with maybe 30 lines code, with go there will be atleast 300 lines. And big positive in solidity is the close syntax relatively speaking to js and c#.

I think it will be better. Exploring things which can improve things is always better. So, I agree.

I assume that Vitalik is an genius. So if there will be other, better language to use he will implement it. I think this was so complex and new idea that he needs a language which doesn't even exist yet. So he created such a tool.
