Naaa. There is no hope. if you think you are holding some altcoins. better sell it off or else risk loosing everything. the altcoin project have a life span of 4 years. once in four years we will see New set of altcoins. the old ones are been dumped.
IN summary. there is no hope.
-
Depending on your desire to believe or invest for the long term. 2 years is the time I use if I want to invest. In short, one year depends on market conditions. The current market is very interesting because every day there will always be new ideas for creating a project. That is another reason why other projects have failed to last for a long time because of the many new ideas to generate coins or tokens.
-
as long as altcoin is still used, the new or old altcoin will still have a price. it's just price stability that affects. I only hold the highest altcoin so don't worry.
-
Even though it is difficult but I still believe in hope, I will continue to survive despite the current bad conditions and still waiting for 2020, hopefully there will be a change.
-
Not all altcoins will have no hope! You must know that only shit-altcoins to have no reasons for the rising. Most of them are new altcoins and launched by ICOs. While for the top altcoins like Ethereum, Litecoin, and Ripple, I am still sure to have the upcoming bull time.
-
It's almost a year now I continuously holding ETH, Binance Coin, and XRP in my crypto wallet. I don't think they will disappear but very positive they'll stay forever as long as Bitcoin is there. At the moment I'm thinking of adding Metal (MTL) and other popular tokens in my portfolio. Just don't lose hope, guys!

You could say that because the eternal law of cryptocurrency exists on Bitcoin, not on altcoins.
But your statement is a little wrong because there are many altcoins that continue to fly and prosper until now such as NEM, XLM, TRON, EThereum, Monero etc.
"Maybe your choice of altcoins is a bit of a problem and this is just my guess"
-
I think right now it's not good to hold a few coins, because the prices on the market are not good. I have seen several altcoins, but the development has not improved much

I do not agree with your negative opinion about altcoins. Why did you decide that the validity period of altcoins is four years? Many tokens were created for certain types of business and work projects that can work for decades. Therefore, I am still inclined to hold my tokens and believe that when the cryptocurrency market starts to rise, many of them are able to bring even good profits.
-
I have a good new coin in the long run, the altcoin is the future if the developers have a way to improve the ideas of the products they sell, currently, new projects and old projects continue to compete and we can still see the list of altcoins on the coinmarketcap has a high trading volume.
-
which of the altcoins are you talking about. cryptocurrency is here to stay, it is getting popularit everyday and surely it will be used to purchase goods very soon. Don't lose hope dude.
-
Do not throw accusation in general term! As you see, there are still many alts coins that continue to exist even in this difficult times. I think, you just chose shit coin and you are frustrated of what happen to those coins you are.holding. anyways, if you want a little assurance of your holding just chose the top 20 alts in the coin market cap.
-
I don’t think so because in major crypto exchanges still the main currency is Bitcoin.
-
Why eth still here? Its also a altcoin project mate? I dont think you must take general view on all of it. Maybe for some project this is the case but dont say for all, I can still see some project advance quickly and probably will stay foe a longer period here in the market its just a matter of survival. Hope isn't always hope I guess, yes frustration is indeed there but dont take it seriously.
-
Look at ethereum, it was established 6 years ago, to be exact 2013. is this a dump? I don't think so, it's only going down because the price of bitcoin isn't good, but the rank isn't going down
-
Top altcoins will always bring profit, it all depends on what price you will buy these top altcoins for and at what price you will sell them, but with new altcoins it is certainly more difficult, it is better not to hold them.
-
all altcoins have hopes of surviving for a long time, all returning to the existing management, we are only a part of consumers who trade in exchange, where did the altcoins they made ;D
for the top one, I think for the next 6 years it is still safe to keep in your wallet

Today, the cryptocurrency market surprised me very much. Firstly, the price of bitcoin has risen by 12 percent and now, according to CoinMarketCap, is $ 8,381. Bitcoin, of course, is capable of such sharp price movements, but over the past few days it has been falling and many have predicted its further decline.
However, my surprise did not even concern this. Following Bitcoin, altcoins began to grow in value and amicably high. In the second quarter, when bitcoin almost quadrupled in value, the price of altcoins almost stood still. That is what made me very happy.
-
Hope for altcoins is always there. There is no impossible as long as there is a community to support altcoins. If Bitcoin dominates crypto market currently, I think it is normal since Bitcoin is like the main coin. But it doesn't mean that altcoins will have no hope in the future.
-
The market of altcoin has disappointed investors to a large extent for some time. Right now it does not seem that altcoin prices will increase much in the coming time, they will see more growth next year.
-
I think what we need is to remove fear and doubt concerning altcoins price maybe in the coming years altcoins market will take a new shape, but if the price of alts fail to grow it will really affect those that are holding small amount of alts in their wallet because they will not be able to sell their own off.
-
You can't say no hopes for altcoins in general, why do you think so? there's a lot of altcoins that is more beneficial and have an upgraded features than bitcoin, there will always be a hope for them to compete even in bitcoin. Just avoid those scam projects who doesn't have a working product to present in people.
-
I think it depends on the Altcoin that we hold, if it is a good Altcoin in the same class as BNB, it will certainly be able to last more than 4 years. But if it's Altcoin which is less popular, it hasn't even been 4 years yet it will also die. So there is a point, if we get Altcoin for free, then we should just sell it. Instead of holding for too long the value is zero.
-
There is a risk. But still altkoins have useful properties and are an integral part of the crypto-currency market, Decentralization is the main goal of Bitcoin
-
Don't forget that Ethereum is also an altcoin. I do not agree with your point, altcoins are still profitable and it will continue to be profitable. There are coins that have been here for more than 4 years and they are still profitable.
-

Quite right, altcoins still generate income and will generate income, the main thing is to invest in top altcoins and then you will always get a profit, but invest in new altcoins always need with wisdom and caution. Now better invest in altcoins which are making IEO on top exchanges.
-
There are some altcoins that will indeed disappear from circulation in the market, namely altcoins that have no value. But for good altcoin, it will certainly last longer. So, if we want to hold altcoin then we must hold good and potential altcoin.
-
I think you're just panicking. Some altcoins need to be held for several years and after that they grow many times. And you can make a good profit. But this is of course a risk, we can’t know if they will grow or not.
-
Depending on which altcoin we hold, if Altcoin is ranked top of course the altcoin will not just disappear. In fact, we will benefit from it, because Altcoin on board must have a large community to support it.
Maybe you mean new altcoins, which don't yet have a large community or Altcoin from a small Cryptocurrency project.
-
Nothing to hope guys.. Bitcoin, Ethereum, bitcoin cash, Ethereum classic, others altcoins prices are dependent on market pumping dumping phenomenon.. So when market crashing then all cryptocurrency coins price automatically downs and bumping times opposition event occurs.
-
Well not all, I believe there are some altcoins there that worth to hold, just invest in the top coinmarketcap, they are trusted coins and still active projects. Just don't invest in shit coin most likely were dumped and soon will be dead.
-
-snip-
Do you have altcoin as you mean? I have seen dogecoin, waves, and other altcoins still show their existence in the crypto market, every year there is always a new altcoin, but the old altcoin still gets a good place and price in the market, all can survive if there are still those who use coins to trade or to use altcoin to buy something at the online store that they have provided.
-
If you invest in new altcoins, then they urgently need to be sold or later it will be too late, and if you invest in top-level altcoins such as ethereum, binance coin, then you can hold them for years, because these altcoins will not go anywhere.
-
I think, depending on which altcoin you hold. Obviously there is no hope for an altcoin that does not have strong fundamentals. Every time there is a new altcoin that appears. Competition is getting tougher. It could be later, there are only a few altcoins that can survive.
-
all altcoins have hope but all come back from the founder of one project if they stop halfway they will lose confidence and it can be said there is no hope in the coins they make
