Title: Is HEX preparing for an exit scam?
Post by: mlawson71 on December 29, 2019, 01:50:57 PM
800 Ether tokens have been withdrawn from the HEX account and allegedly sent to Bitfinex which has caused suspicions that HEX is preparing for an exit scam. These news were first revealed on Reddit and then supported by evidence from Etherscan.
The founder of HEX, Richard Heart, stated that there are 46,000 ETH left to withdraw and they are held in a single address that is controlled by anonymous individual. This makes users uncomfortable, especially considering that Richard Hart was revealed to be a former internet “Spam King” with ties to a Panamanian criminal network.

This may be much ado about nothing, but at the same time in the unfortunate light of past exit scams users are entitled to feeling suspicious, I think.
