I mostly like XLM, ETH, and LTC. I think they can give me a good project if I can hold them for the long term because the price is now cheap compared to what it was in 2017. What do you think? which coin can give a good return on investment?

Yes, I also with you about xlm but not sure about eth. Eth was above 1000$ but now it's only above 170$ now. But I think xlm has a very good chance to overcome eth in the future because of its simplicity, speed, and cost-effectiveness.

All altcoin is good, especially in rank 1-20 coin marketcap. But of the many altcoins, I prefer ETH. I will not worry about holding ETH for a long time. I don't have a special statement for ETH, it's only because I like it.

Better not forget about bitcoin my friend. You should have at least 1/2 of your portfolio in bitcoin. All your picks are good but im worried about ltc because as we all know, Charlie Lee alreadby sold his bags of litecoin and this is a very red flag to me since we cannot assure if he is still committed in litecoin foundation.

Be cautious of projects with anonymous creators
Nobody really knows the person that created Bitcoin, but the early anonymity was understandable because of the revolutionary concept of cryptocurrency and its initial link with Silk Road. Now, the creators of cryptocurrencies are bold enough to attach their names to their coins and we at least know some of the people working on the Bitcoin Foundation. You should be careful about investing in any altcoin created by faceless anonymous people. If they choose to disappear into thin air, you might never be able to recover your investment or get justice for their fraud.
Be wary of altcoins that promise guaranteed gains
All forms of investment carry an element of risk and cryptocurrencies are particularly riskier than many traditional investments. Cryptocurrencies are still speculative in nature, you can make a lot of money, and you can lose a substantial part of your investment. Hence, any whitepaper, ad, or marketing pitch guaranteeing gains on investment on any cryptocurrency is obviously lying. Don’t be carried away by the promise of “the next Bitcoin”, you should conduct your due diligence and know the risks before you invest.
Make sure you are buying substance and not hype
Individuals and companies launching ICOs nowadays are spending a great deal of money on marketing and advertisements. Before you buy any altcoin, you should be sure that the coin has a sustainable functional use in solving a specific problem(s). Anybody can cook up a shiny whitepaper, carefully crafted charts, and throw in a couple of out-of-context statistics for good measure. Your due diligence will help you determine if the cryptocurrency has substance or another well-packaged hype.
Social media is a decent metric for measuring credibility
When people create websites, whitepapers, and marketing pitch for their altcoins—they are usually in charge of controlling the narrative. Hence, they can easily craft a great story that paints them in good light. However, comments from early investors, users, skeptics, and critics on their social media posts help you measure their honesty and see how well they handle criticism. Of course, social media is often home to lots of trolling activity, but comments on social media posts can provide insights into the credibility of a team, their project, and their altcoin.

No matter how potential you see the altcoins still there is no Magic to become successful. The choice is yours. Discipline and patience is required to wait some time.

I agree. We can choose from rank 1-20 on coinmarketcap. However, it's better to buy a few altcoins if you have a lot of money. Not greedy But just want to feel the profits of some altcoins. Altcoin prices will rise this year. So don't miss the moment to buy it at a low price.

Ripple, XLM and ETH are good and stable coins nowadays. In addition to the platforms they have many who are familiar with and are used to make tokens. Examples like the old ETH and Stellar platforms for creating new tokens.

i have been a Long admirer of LTC but i am dissappointed. i have hodl for a long time. i don't think it is reliable now and may even plummet further. i advise to move into BSH and BSV. ETC is also another nice project. consider BTC as well. Eth is okay to hold. sorry to say i dump all my XLM and went in for XRP.

From these altcoins, I think it is best to invest in ethereum, because ethereum has not been pumped up for a long time and soon I think there will be a pump, and most importantly, ethereum developers are working very hard to improve ethereum.

Altcoins are a lot of manipulation tricks and this is very regrettable for long-term hold. For example the altcoins that were priced at 10,000 Satoshi and now the price is around 200 Satoshi!

These mentioned projects are nice but I really dont like xlm as their platform has no projects tie up with compared to eth as smart contract type of crypto business. Ltc on the otherhand is becoming btc in my opinion and also good market cap. I might as well thinking of holding some of it. Altcoins are unique to one another especially in their use case so choose one that are massively adopted by community.

I think Link is also a good candidate to hold long term. Other than that I think your coins are great. I also love XLM and ETH and LTC. I do not like binance coin and other no use coins. Solid projects are the best. However little swings can give you better profit than holding. Stay safe my friend.

If you ask me, of course, I would give you my choice for me its Tezos, I believe this coin has a future because of its solid development impose by its creative and hardworking team in that particular reason it has a big potential to succeed btw I'm just only speculating because I believe that no one can predict the market outcome especially in the highly volatile crypto industry.

There are so many good projects out there but you must hold the best among them. But we didnt know the future, much better to diversify your portfolio but be sure to have bitcoin as your largest allocation. Then go for ethereum and some BNB as they are the good for long term because of solid team.

Number one I give Bitcoin, because to this day all the other altcoins depend on it. I prefer ether as the second coin and see growth prospects in it. These are less risky coins in my opinion for the long term.

Faithfulness is good practice. Fix your eyes to what you loved the most then hold it until the day of harvest. Planting and pruning and harvesting are some of actual life cycle and I think it is the same here.

I am not interested in holding coins for the long term. All the coins you mentioned are good. You do not need to hesitate to buy it. You can share your money in the three altcoins. So you can get greater profits.

For the long term, I prioritize investing in Bitcoin. Besides Bitcoin, I have other alternatives such as Ethereum, Ripple, and EOS. I believe in my investment because the coins already have good prices and enthusiasts that are growing every year.

I decide to invest short term investment because many a time long term investments is not good for us. I already lost my maximum assets due to the long term investments. I invested my Ethereum and bitcoin when bitcoin and Ethereum maximum in market but I faced a huge amount of losses.

bitcoin remains a top most for any cryptocurrency follower. followed by Eth and XRP. the rest are for short term. i regret holding LTC. i am waiting for it's moon day. i prefer BSV and BCH than LTC. I think they have potentials more that LTC. another solid Gem in crypto is NEO known as china's BITCOIN. it is a must have for everyone.

Do you forget to list Bitcoin? In my opinion, the first coin to hold for the long term should be Bitcoin. Then you can consider top altcoins such as ETH, XRP, LTC, XLM, BNB coin, or ADA. As long as they are top altcoins, I think there is no problem to hold for a long time. But never consider new altcoins.

Various exchanges performed coins i.e binance coin (BNB) houbi tokens (HT), gate.io project token are eligible to investment. Actually I support Ethereum and bitcoin as a first priority. Origin protocol, ripple, EOS, cardano, wanchain, stellar, neo, tron, etc are the most profitable coins to invest and holding for long term period.

I agree, almost all altcoins down to 100% from 2017. This allows us to freely choose which altcoin to buy. Considering that this year bitcoin will be halving, so most likely all altcoin prices will also go up.

I now prefer ETH more than BTC. Ethereum is a relatively cheap coin and continues to develop well. I also hope for improvements to Ethereum 2.0 in this coin, which should raise it to the highest level and improve functional characteristics.
Bitcoin is still slowly aging. While it is still reliable, however in the future everything can be.

For cheaper investment but looking good coin, pick ripple while it is not yet pumping. Ripple can go up 1$ once bitcoin pump. Eth and litecoin are also good coin to invest. I think the choice is yours what the best coin fit your standard and purpose.

100% ETH in my opinion. Because After BTC market movement, you will see highest market movement creates in ETH. So if you make investment into ETH you can easily check profit and lose. In fact Eth price also in low position so that you can go for investment easily.

I prefer holding Bitcoin, ETH and Ripple. I always invest and hold for the long term and get a lot of profit. I use Ethereum for more daily trading and it's easy to get daily profit.

My personal opinion is about ETH. Being second with respect to market capitalization, ETH is still leading the race. Also at the moment, ETH is still the most accepted blockchain platform for dApps due to its scalability and simplicity. Even though price at the moment is very low, in the near future it will give good returns.

You have got a good list of tokens as stated above.
But when you hodl etherum, then you must a very patient person, because etherum flips in price alot and that can be worrying.
Why not try out a silent investment in waves and doge?

Even XRP? I like the other you mentioned, but XRP, is not a good coin for me, centralized is not good, better to invest in stocks I think.

I think XRP is a good coin but yes it is centralized. However, in my opinion, it is own decision to choose which coin to buy and hold. Even stablecoins also can be good to save but not really good to invest. We must differentiate between saving and investing. ;)

Yeah, you are right, in this crypto world, we always need to check everything before joining it, for me, XRP is not good, But it can be a good option to a lot of people.

These three coins are good, they all have potential, which I think is all good. However Ethereum can be number one choice, continue Litecoin and the last is XLM.
I think Ethereum is number one Altcoin, which is why I highly recommend the coin to be held for a long time to get huge profits.

Buying cheap coins for long-term investments is very promising. There are still a lot of cheap coins that also have good potential. But when we determine the coin to invest, of course, we have to intelligently select it.
For me before determining the coin, I will see the top rankings of CMC. But a good coin in my opinion is Binance (BNB). These coins have excellent growth, let alone this is the "Exchange platform ". Binance Exchange has a very large trading volume. So I think that this coin has a good future to invest in.

My predictions for the XLM price will spike. It is currently a good opportunity to buy XLM coins. Many people are optimistic about the future of XLM in 2019, until 2020.
ETH and LTC I think are also very good for long term investments. From 2019, ETH and LTC continue to move upwards. And this year the price movements also continue to increase. I suppose in 2021 will be a lot of surprises about ETH, LTC, and XLM.

I also think that way eth is good to prioritize next to bitcoin if planning for long term holding. However, you can consider other altcoins not just the top rank. You can try to read ARCS project maybe you will like it.

Ethereum should be the best option to hold for the long term. I have no doubt to buy and hold Ethereum till now because I am pretty sure that the price of Ethereum can rise up again in the next few months. Actually, I have proven it in the last few months that I sell some of my Ethereum and take profits. I can say that Ethereum is really safe crypto-asset besides Bitcoin as the value is quite consistent to improve and survive at a high level.

Those three coins are good enough for long term investment. Of course, BTC is always included. But for the altcoins, ETH is the best coin to have. So far, if we are also willing to have the new coin listed we can choose the one that offers a real products or can be used in real world life such as DEP, OGN, And also APOD.

For longterm investments only btc and eth can be suggested because their performance can be historically verified, while all other coins are yet to prove themselves with respect to value and demand but yes cardano, stellar, neo and icon are all good projects and can be considered for longterm.

At that time investment was very profitable. Yet investment will benefit a lot. You can invest limited resources in ETH. You invest a lot more on LTC and xlm. However, it is not 100% secure, it depends on your skills and strategy in trading or investment. Even you choose good coins, you won't be successful if you have a lack of knowledge and careless way in trading/investing.

ETH would be good to invest right now, if you don't have an idea their are launching Etherium 2.0 which has a possibility that eth will bull in that time. Im holding my eth right now and i hope i can gain a lot of profit with it.

ETH would be good to invest right now, if you don't have an idea their are launching Etherium 2.0 which has a possibility that eth will bull in that time. Im holding my eth right now and i hope i can gain a lot of profit with it.
ETH over the past month has fluctuated in a good direction, so investing in it is undoubtedly the best option.

XLM, Ethereum and Litecoin are all worth holding in the long run. These three coins are coins that have high potential value in the future, but for the best of the three I prefer Ethereum. Ethereum is a very familiar and number one Altcoin. Litecoin is the next choice and the last XLM.

I actually support Ethereum. I prefer to make trade with ETH. I think, there will be a high rise in ETH price in the future. That's why I always try to hold a portion of ETH. If you want to hold for long time, you can hold ETH. But only ETH is not the best holding method. There are many other coins which are good for holding. If you want to hold different coins, you can try other good performing coin like bitcoin, ripple, XRP, light coin etc.

If it has capital I will invest in these three coins (XLM, ETH, and LTC) especially for long-term investments. From the year 2019, I have not seen a bull going on in these three coins. Actually the development of these three coins from the beginning of the year continues to increase. For me this year also became the beginning to invest again. Ethereum and XLM are my favorites among your favorite coins. Bitcoin is the most trusted and reliable coin in the crypto world. I think half of your investment should be invested in Bitcoin. Apart from this, my favorite coin for long term investment is BNB, XRP, TRX, ETC, BCH.

For me, as LTC and XLM are top altcoins and have big market caps, why not to invest in them for the long term. They actually also have potential to surge and bring profits for us. However, to make big profits or not, or even lose, it also depends on our way of investment. So, don't only blame on the coins/tokens.
