GUTS is a ticketing platform that uses blockchain technology(GET Protocol) to register ownership of smart tickets by doing so GUTS makes ticket fraud impossible. The purchased smart tickets can only be resold within a fixed price range, this means no more disgraceful prices for (secondary) tickets.
GUTS is live
GUTS Tickets has a live smart ticketing application with paying event organizers in the Netherlands ticketing with the application (https://blog.guts.tickets/explore-the-tickets-of-the-jochem-myjer-pilot-on-the-blockchain-f2c5defacd47). With the proof-of-concept and practical market experience of developing and operating a ticketing company, the GET Protocol described in our white paper (https://get-protocol.gitbook.io/whitepaper/) was designed. The protocol allows all event-organizers and venue holders to securely add smart ticket attributes to their tickets without having knowledge of crypto or smart contracts. During the ICO period (lately 2017), which was officially completed with over 10.9k Ether raised valued north to €6 million in funding for the protocol the crowd sale can be considered as a huge success.

Usability for the end-user
The GUTS ticket platform facilitates fair-use and a good user-experience. We issue smart tickets to the customer that are protected from anyone with bad intentions. Furthermore, we provide an internal exchange platform that allows customers to easily resell their tickets within fixed boundaries. A GUTS smart ticket will never leave the protocol, thereby guaranteeing access to each and every customer to the event at a fair price.
International Ambitions
GET Protocol Foundation is in process of onboarding more ticketing companies every day. Ticketing companies that already use GET Protocol, GUTS Tickets and ITIX, have been increasing their event organizer and artists portfolio which will result more ticket sales on the blockchain through GET Protocol.
Through the ticket sales in the Netherlands which help by GUTS and ITIX, GET Protocol is proven that it can scale for the international ambitions the GET Protocol Foundation has. The first ticket sales held in South Korea in November 2019 is just the beginning of a worldwide use case of the GET Protocol, starting with South Korea.
GET Protocol token economics in four steps
1- GET Protocol is a blockchain-based ticketing engine, allowing ticketing companies to issue admission rights in a fully digital way. This innovative approach provides many benefits over traditional ticketing. For example, one application of the system is eradicating fraud and ticket scalping. However, there is much more to it and the ticketing industry is on the brink of understanding this.
2- Making use of the GET Protocol requires a fuel, called the GET token, or simply ‘GET’. For example: Tickets that are sold and resold by ticketing companies using GET Protocol require GET to perform their duties.
3- After an event cycle is completed and all tickets are validated and processed, a portion of GET is automatically burned by the protocol, decreasing the total supply of GET that exists in the world.
4- GET needed by ticketing companies for their sales and events is provided upfront by the protocol at a locked rate per event cycle, to provide a frictionless experience for the ticketing companies and their fans.

- We were honored and very excited to be invited to come pitch for the Eurovision Songfestival, which is being held in Holland in 2020. Unfortunately, we did not end up being selected as the ticketing partner, even though we were down to last two companies that were competing. However, this proves GET Protocol is proven to be a high-end technology to be considered for Eurovision and similar large events.
