You are making it sound like Ethereum's price is the reason why many erc-20 tokens failed and not considering the fact that most of these projects are too weak to survive a bear market. By "too weak" I mean, they are shitty in the first place.

If you are basing the worthiness of a project on ethereum's price increase, maybe you should just invest in Ethereum and not in any of these tokens. To me, you can't clearly distinguish the importance of use cases yet.

I wouldn't bundle all erc20 tokens as worthy or not. The projects vary so much and some of them don't even have any development going on. Then there are placeholder tokens that are just there before projects finish making their own first layer solutions.

No... Many new projects are worthless due to market conditions. Now bitcoin and Ethereum price is better atmosphere but investors don't want to invest in cryptocurrency market due to losses of assets. Again money fake websites are funding money with fake projects, when they achieve goals then they flew away.

I think the man who want to invest in crypto should study before of his investment. Everybody knows about last 3 years eth price so if anybody want to invest, he must mentally set before investment. I think the new erc project just wants to make new innovations to invest in crypto. they create projects with products that can be reused. but to replace eth I think that's a very difficult thing.

These ERC tokens are built for the cheap price because they can't afford to put money for creating their own coin. The price of the ERC20 token does not depend on the price of Ethereum, if the price of Ethereum rises it does not mean the price of the ERC20 Token will rise too, and vice versa. Last year ETH didn't reach to $400 but in the first of 2020, ETH reached $290 and after that Corona effect dumped the price. Now gradually recovering it. I hope ETH will hit $400 as soon as the corona over and crypto will dominate the market. I hope it will touch at the end of 2020.

ERC-20 is just a token standard. And it is not necessary to consider all tokens created on this standard as failed.
In my opinion, the failure of some ERC20 tokens is due to poor management and projects that are not ready to be opened to the public. Many developers only think of the success of the ICO without thinking about how the project can be accepted by the wider community.

There is no involvement of ethereum price to the failed or success of the token. The project is moved independently and has its own path to follow. It does not mean that token base on ethereum platform will go in parallel to that of ethereum market because these are two different product, the only link they have because token is using ethereum platform to issue their project symbolnin term of cryto token.

Do not worry, ethereum will go up again. BTC has pulling down almost all alts in the marketplace including ethereum. i think this normal when BTC down so many alts will also go down togethere with btc. I just hope bitcoin will bounce up so we could see green market again in the coming days.

Last year ether price was reached $400 and now the price is approximate $500 so there is no difference i think but if we analysis the price is so good because the pandemic situation is on going. That is why the ether is is good. So i think that ERC-20 projects are worth.

Link is not the only one competitor of Ethereum but also dot, and bnb and there are more blockchain with lower fees than Ethereum. The high gas fee is painful for us small person in crypto that do small transaction. I wish someday Vitalik will fix this weak point.
