“Currently, the legal status of crypto-currency in the Russian Federation is not defined. The provision by Russian legal entities of services for exchanging "virtual currencies" for rubles and foreign currency, as well as for goods (work, services) is considered as potential involvement in the implementation of questionable transactions in accordance with the legislation on combating the legalization (laundering) of proceeds from crime, and the financing of terrorism.”

Terror harms innocent people; endanger people's life and freedom. There is a terrorism problem in my country too (PKK, YPG, political extensions and their political allies collaborating with them). I don't want anything bad to happen to my family. I care about the fight against terrorism. The steps and regulations to be taken on this path will contribute to us. We should show understanding to the states on this issue.

Despite the fact that this thread was launched in 2017, in Russia there is still a problem with the circulation of cryptocurrency, and although the law on digital assets has been passed, there are more bans than normal regulation of cryptocurrency. Moreover, there is still the possibility of introducing criminal liability for the use of cryptocurrency as a means of payment. Thus, in Russia one of the harshest and most hostile relations to cryptocurrency on the part of the government.
