Tezos price maintained an uptrend to an ATH of $3.95, which is 230% for Hodlers in just 6 weeks and there has been a 20% correction in the price recently. As shown on the 4H and 60M periods, XTZ needs to hold this level to continue the uptrend.

i need help on this future treading. how do you make money when the market moves against you. it is not clear to me. i hope someone will eplain better. How is it possible to gain from a bear market. Tezos has been my favourite for a very long time.

Hi Tonymillee, thanks for your reply. You can make profits trading on Bull and Bear markets using crypto futures contracts. Basically, if you feel that the price of XTZ is going UP, so you can BUY (long) and if you fell the price is going DOWN you can SELL (short) and make profits on the downtrend.
For example: Let's suppose you BUY 10 contracts of XTZ paying 2.61 each, which is worth about 26.20 TUSD. To do that you need to have a bit more of only 1 TUSD of margin, as can be seen on the screenshot below. So, if the price goes UP, you can SELL those 10 contracts for a Higher Price and make profits. It is like many traditional spot exchanges.

But, if you think the price is going DOWN, so you can SELL (short). Let's suppose you SELL 10 XTZ contracts per 2.61 each and when the price of XTZ is now Lower or reached a point that you think it may start to grow again, so you BUY 10 contracts to close that first transaction, and so you make profits on the bear market as well.
It doesn't matter if you buy or sell, the margin is the same. So you can make profits if you think the price is going UP you BUY LOWER to SELL HIGHER, but you also can make profits if you think the price is going DOWN. Thus, in BEAR markets you SELL HIGHER to BUY LOWER.
You don't need to have the crypto you are trading. Let's suppose you have 10 TUSD in your account and you think the price of XTZ is going DOWN. So, you just open a SELL position of XTZ. You don't need to have XTZ in your portfolio to SELL because you are trading contracts of XTZ and not XTZ itself.

That was a cool detailed explanation I'm holding some Tezos for a while but I have no plan to sell it, for now, the one attracts my attention is your explanation because also interested in doing margin trading But I find it hard and complicated to do but now I have learned something from your thread. great!

Yes Yes, i am seriously investing and Rooting for it. i will love to see it grow higher than it use to be than before. the project looks promising that ever. Terzor is a great and amazing project with lots of partherships and new ones coming up.
