Tagomi, a crypto prime broker headquartered in New York, will join the Libra Association, the governing body for the Facebook-led stablecoin. Tagomi was founded by Jennifer Campbell in 2018, a former associate at Union Square Ventures.

Tagomi will become the Libra Association’s 22nd member. Members of the association are expected to contribute at least $10 million to the Libra Reserve, which holds the assets that back the cryptocurrency.

Tagomi has raised $28 million to date, making a $10 million commitment a large amount for a two-year-old startup. It should be noted that some of the biggest names in crypto are listed as clients on the company’s website: Galaxy Digital, Pantera and Electric Capital amongst others. Tagomi’s value proposition on its website is simple: “Executing large orders of digital assets is really hard. Tagomi makes it simple.”

Moreover, Tagaomi holds one of the highly-coveted BitLicences issued by the New York State Department of Financial Services, which allows it to serve New York residents.

The Libra Association itself has been in the news lately for all the wrong reasons —— many of its original backers are abandoning the project, fearing regulatory pressure coming from the U.S. government. The list of deserters includes Vodafone, Visa, Mastercard, Stripe, PayPal and eBay.

As for Tagomi, a Facebook-backed stablecoin could be a useful tool that would diminish its need for a fiat gateway.

I did not expect that the Libra project still has 22 partners for this project, unless, of course, this is outdated information. In general, I doubted that this stable coin would be issued, it caused so many scandals and indignation. However, there was information that Australia will already test its circulation. We will soon see how it will be perceived in the financial world.

Besides all this company signifying interest on the Libra project, i think this is no longer a surprise because so many who initially joint the Libra association were pulling out one after the other since late 2019. i believed that when the libra team has settled aii thin its lingering issues, first with US Parliament, and the other countries, then we may know these companies that are fully in the Libra associations.

Yes, you very are very correct, so many companies who initially joined the Libra association pulled out of the group given one reason one or another why they left.
Fortunately, some more firms are signifying interest to join the association.
I think when Libra is fully launched we may see the old firms that left the association coming back. The reason given for quiting Libra association in late 2010 might be over look when finally launch. Let watch and see how this drama plays out in the end.

YES it is indeed such a thing because stable coins will be useful for Facebook which has well-known communities around the world.
Don't let Facebook create coins that don't have a certain price every day.

My experience with this well-known platform must be as stable as USD, which is already well-known as a USDT coin whose price is stable.
(this platform is certainly well known and known to many people).

This is the best news that Tagomi is going so associate with Libra coin and this coin future is so much good.
This is just the beginning, buddy, if everything changes immediately, then Tagomi can break free from cooperation with LIBRA.
Tagomi also has a choice, whether they can work together with a different vision with Facebook for the long term or the short term.

I think this is very dangerous for Tagomi if LIBRA is not real or not created properly like other altcoins.

They are not the only company joining. The most recent member of the Libra Association (https://theforexreview.com/2020/09/18/san-francisco-based-blockchain-capital-joins-libra-association/) has become Blockchain Capital, a San Francisco based firm. The company has joined the other 28 members of the association as Facebook is heading the fight for a stablecoin launch.

LOL
Don't be in a hurry, friends, because everything needs a process.
Indeed, a lot of the cryptocurrency community feels the same way, namely disappointment with the development of the LIBRA project.

But if LIBRA is sure you want to bring up the project quickly then don't make it narrow like this, even from the main website there is no new notification about LIBRA. sad!

It is bound to happen in a genuine course especially when there are challenges. Libra association welcomed very many interest at the beginning of the planned launch of the Libra project, but when the yeam meet some challenges, many of her members left sitting different reasons or the other. I think Libra association can still increase before the final launch and even certain numbers of the association that had left may come back in 2021.
Libra association is gonna improve come 2021 and it will definitely enhance the project growth.

So many Libra partners will left the project and they just say that the Libra coin is not running and this project is not good. But now the Libra coin change their name and they soon the coin will be launched and everyone can buy and sell this coin though their facebook account.
