For new users in the blockchain industry, most people are not aware that there are fake extension that collect your secret crypto key when you install. always be mindful of the extension you insteall and if you are not sure about the extension, consult the token owner and ask for assistance.

Aways check the source before instaling it, some fake apps try to impersonate metamask, badger wallet and more, the best thing is to search for the source before installing anything.

Fake extensions are rampant in the browsers we have today, be it google chrome, mozilla, smoov or brave browser
You need to be very careful.

Chrome recently deleted several extensions due to fraud issues.

There's indeed a lot of fakes in the Browser extension apps, It's better to do some check-ups before installing it to prevent any possible loss of your cryptocurrencies because many are disguising to be like the legit wallet extension to a particular platform in the store so its better take precaution every time you wish to install any browser extension especially those crypto wallets app.

Yes you are right. Beginners should be careful always. And not only beginners and experienced crypto enthusiasts. Because scammers are not asleep.

It is true. They must be more careful. Especially airdrop that installs extensions. They must research first. And requires to check it on the virustotal site.
