FAQ

Who decides who becomes President? Usually Senators, but not always.
Who decided the 1st Vice President? The Senate as a majority approved the proposal from the 2nd President to elect a VP, January 2021.
Who decides the VP? The President appoints the Vice President. The President and VP can also run as an election ticket.
Who will chose the next President? Senators either vote to elect a candidate, or otherwise elect three candidates for a general election.
How often are new Presidents elected? Usually every 12 months. This can be sooner (such as 6 months) or longer (max term is 2 years).
Why do we need a President?  This is a community, not a kindergarten class, thus a community can not be managed in an authoritarian way.
What will be the admin role? I will be the tech guy and will assist the president, but final saying will be for the president in all managerial matters.
Can a President or VP be removed? In some rare cases yes, for example breach of trust, abuse of user data, unethical behavior, or unanimous Senate vote.

The President is responsible for the following:
- Deciding on mods to promote and demote
- Choosing contest/giveaway winners
- Policies & changes of policies
- Removing penalties & -karma
- Granting bonus karma

Vice President is the VP of the community
The VP is responsible for the following:
- Supporting the President in proposals and policy changes
- Assumes Presidency if President steps down or inactive
- Deal with people and mod requests
- Assisting in Presidential duties


Presidents Committee
The President, VP & Ex-Presidents are responsible for:
- Mod reviews & rewards based on mod activity
- Nominating & interviewing mod candidates
- Promoting and demoting global mods
- Assisting in Presidential duties


President & Vice President shared duties
- Choosing mods to promote and demote
- Initiatives and promotion.


President & Admin shared duties
- Work on fighting spam, shilling, plagiarism, shitposting, etc (https://www.altcoinstalks.com/index.php?topic=3171.0).
- Granting mods status when the section has inactive mods


Admin duties
- Execute the distribution & withdrawal in a timely manner.
- Market the forum, using the forum funds & own funds.
- Sell advertisement/use the forum for marketing*
- Work on the technical aspect of the forum.
- Change add/remove boards
- All token related policies
