Title: With this recent surge in BTC, is it possible to have all time high this year?
Post by: vicoma4real on April 30, 2020, 04:27:35 PM
Despite the pandemic and the current situation throughout the world, BTC keeps on surging upward in price. This might not be far from the upcoming halving happening in the next 13 days. If BTC can recover like this from $3800 and now trading above $9000, it is likely to speculate that we might have another all-time high this year?

It's difficult to say. Let's see what happen right after the halving first. After a long time of bear trend, many people lost their patience and will cash out when the price increases in the eve of halving. Generally, we can expect a new ATH this year or next year. But Covid-19 pandemic can also be a prevention to that.

I'm not sure, but I have very high expectations. Just two days the value of Bitcoin has gone up, now the price of Bitcoin has begun to fall again.

I still only hope that the price of BTC will be kept safe above $10K in 2020. Of course everyone wants the price of BTC to reach $30K next month, but don't forget the $4.5K level in mid-March :)

It was yesterday, just look at the current price, it has declined. The current price of BTC is around $8,725. I am pretty afraid that this can be lower again. But yes, I expect to see it increase more than yesterday exactly. I hope Halving trends still work to influence investors to buy more.

For some reason, it also seems to me that this year we have a record high. And Bitcoin is already demonstrating this on the roar. Therefore, we need to be patient and see what happens next.

There are many predictions about the rise in the price of Bitcoin at Halving BTC in May, investors will certainly await the achievement of the new ATH so that it can surpass the BTC price in 2017, but all of that will happen when there are many requests from new investors and traders who want Bitcoin is high in number, this will certainly increase the price of BTC and I think the price will rise rapidly this year.

The ATH of Bitcoin was $20,089 on Dec 17, 2017. I think we are still far from $20k, so I doubt if we are going to reach a new ATH this year. I think the possible highest rate of Bitcoin this year below $15k. I am not confident to say more than that rate, let's hope a new ATH in 2021.

Bitcoin is unlikely to make it to a new all-time high this year. Now the period of downturn in business activity has already begun in the markets, including the cryptocurrency one. Therefore, until autumn, and, most likely, the second half of autumn, the price of bitcoin will not significantly increase. Bitcoin is unlikely to be able to double in price in the remaining short time by the end of the year.
We should look more forward to next year. However, one should not forget about the coronavirus pandemic, it may well make its own adjustments to the price of the cryptocurrency.

Although the price of the BTC is increasing, I think that it is still difficult to reach or pass its ATH again this year. We can only hope that it will reach around $13k and it has been so pleased. However, who knows? If it really can reach its ATH, everybody will be surprising and happy to see it

The possibility of Bitcoin hitting another all time high can't be ruled out this year. In crypto any thing can happen, and hitting a new records is still very possible by the end of the year. In 2017, no one expected BTC to hit $20k, and I think there are chances the first crypto to make another all time high by the of this year. In crypto, any thing can happen

Bitcoin's currency value is not quite the same as these real-world monetary conditions. Bitcoin itself is more like a financial commodity. I think one of the main barriers to bitcoin breaking a high level is time, but the process is tortuous. Production is the most critical factor in determining the value of an asset, even if the price goes up, we can't produce more bitcoin, unlike gold, which we can increase production. As the supply of Bitcoin is halved, the ratio of inventory flow to production will double to 54 (very close to gold).

The current prices in the cryptocurrency market pleasantly surprise. Bitcoin has confidently crossed the $ 10,000 price mark and now its price is $ 10,208. Ethereum also shows good results, having risen in its price to $ 327. The question still remains: is this a temporary price spike or the start of a long bull market? We will see in the near future.

It is very possible for Bitcoin to reach a new all time high this year, it's quite possible to even reach above $15,000 as the market is looking very promising. This doesn't look like a short term spike atall. Infact, many altcoins are also seeing a surge in price and it seem more mass adoption is happening in crypto space currently.

Bitcoin (BTC), the most valuable cryptocurrency based on market capitalization, seems to have finally come back to life, after collapsing into a stupor that lasted from the end of 2017 to the end of last year.  Trading below $ 4,000 per token just a few weeks ago, Bitcoin has jumped, now more than $ 8,000 at the time this news was written.  Then followed by other cryptocurrency, including Ethereum, XRP, Bitcoin Cash, EOS and Litecoin along with it.

I again think that the price of BTC will be bounced back to $10,000 in the same way that ETH price is being pushed back to $300. The road back to ATH is too difficult, at least in 2020.
Anyway, I'm glad the total market cap has exceeded $300B.

So far, the ATH of Bitcoin is $20,089.00 USD as sold in Dec 17, 2017. Now, the price is still around $11k. It still needs around $9k again to pass the ATH. For this big amount, if the market is always positive trend like this, it may be available to reach and pass it. but the market is still volatile. So we cannot predict it indeed whether it will hit the ATH or not.

Not sure about the all-time high, but bitcoin price should rise substantially by the end of this year. We see that a few days ago, bitcoin quickly overcame the price of $ 10,000, and then $ 11,000. Now its price, according to CoinMarketCap, is $ 11,197 and it looks like it is not going to fall. I think that about $ 15,000 - $ 18,000 by the end of the year bitcoin might have.

We can hope big expectations in the crypto world. But we must also be a reality to make us not disappointed so much. Well yeah the price of the BTC increases in the very short time moving from $9k to more than $11k. But to reach the ATH this year? I don't think that it is available to do that because ATH is still so far away. It should be more than $20k.

Bitcoin still has a chance this year to retrace its previous price record of $ 20,000. This can happen if we enter a period of severe global economic crisis and the demand for bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies will sharply increase due to the fact that a decentralized cryptocurrency cannot be subject to inflation, as is the case with the usual currencies of states. We see that gold has already surpassed $ 2,000 an ounce and this may be just the beginning. If the global economic crisis comes, it will be a serious test for a decentralized cryptocurrency.

It is to early if we claim to have ATH this year only because of the current increase. I don't think that the current increase will have a big influence to dteremine ATH for this year. It is still too far from the previous ATH. Even it is possible that in the near future will be a correction in price.

We have seen how there's an increase in mass adoption, we don't seem to be near the ATH for this year yet due to the potential shown by bitcoin. Price is undoubtedly surging and will continue to, we might even see $20,000 according to few predictions.

The highest price of bitcoin is around 20000 usd, and the price of bitcoin today is still around 11000 usd, there is a possibility of bitcoin to 20000 usd if the trading volume also increases, because if the trading volume increases then that indicates bitcoin demand will also increase so the price will go up.
But the question is, what will be the trigger for bitcoin to be bought? because so far the news about crypto has been written a lot but the interest in crypto buyers is still growing a little, and if this still happens the possibility of bitcoin returning to its highest price is still unlikely.

Perhaps bitcoin might reach its all time high this year it looks certain because an increase is expected after the bitcoin halving

It's too soon to conclude if the price of bitcoin will go up this year, but if next year 2021 will probably happen, because if you look at the history of the chart when bitcoin was bullish, bitcoin took 1 year to go higher after the halving happened, like the 2016 halving, then bitcoin bullish in 2017, and this year's halving occurs in 2020, so it is likely that bitcoin will be bullish in 2021.
This is still a prediction, but whatever it is all back to the market, because sometimes the market moves not according to predictions.

Yea, BTC now $11750 and its the high rate at this moment and i think it will hit atleast 15k$+ if all good news carry on. There are a barrier actually in 13500$ i think and if it cross we may hope to a high rate end of BTC that was expected by all.

thanks.

It may well be. However, most likely, Bitcoin will be able to approach the price record as early as next year. For the remaining four and a half months, the price will increase by more than eight thousand dollars, it is unrealistic,  considering that it is unlikely that it will be able to constantly grow in price until the end of the year.

it's not yet certain, 4 months to go and the year 2020 will be close but BTC price still struggling to rise. am still optimistic though but I'm not expecting anything to happen. I'll just be happy if it reaches to $15k before the year end. BTC touches $12k recently but it does not hold any longer not even an hour it collapse again to $11k.

the price of btc fell to the price of 11000 usd because the volume was not enough to break the resistance area, but if the 12000 usd resistance was broken then there is a possibility that the bitcoin price of 15000 usd will occur in the near future, but if the 12000 usd area fails to be broken down repeatedly, then there is the possibility of bitcoin will fall deeper into the area of 9000 usd.

BTC is the king of all coins and this make his level is high, so many coins will come in the market and they make a great high than the BTC but after sometime that coin level is down and now they are zero.

The global epidemic and crisis have had no effect on the bitcoin market. I think the economies of many countries around the world have been destroyed. The economies of some countries have become completely paralyzed. Even then Bitcoin is awake. The price of this currency has risen further. Bitcoin could not be suppressed in this crisis moment. In other words, the condition of the market is very good now. So I think cryptocurrency will not be destroyed. You stay with cryptocurrency.
