Post by: Paglamon on May 02, 2020, 12:19:53 PM
Online scams have also been a major concern of the whole crypto community because the crypto market is prone to such scams. Recently, it has been reported that a lot of people have been receiving scam emails, asking for donations. These crypto scammers have impersonated members of Japan’s Olympic Committee and are asking donations for the same.

Due to the coronavirus pandemic, the Olympic Games in Tokyo has been postponed. This is the reason, the scammers have chosen the Olympic Committee. It has been reported on April 30 that these crypto scammers are asking for crypto donations. They have fooled people that these donations will help the organizers of Olympic games to recover back from the economic crisis due to the postponement of the games.

Scammers are everywhere so it's not surprising at all and they often using the legal front elsewhere to scam people. by the way, if those people are asking any donation without presented a valid proof of authenticity just ignore them it is better to keep your money or crypto-currency for yourself rather than giving it to those pretenders and scammers. keep vigilant to avoid being scammed.

There are too many online scams nowadays, but if someone is asked for financial assistance such as for the Olympics I think it's better to see the data of the proposal they provided first, so that you can reduce the losses you experience,

It's very funny that when the the higher the market goes, the more scammers show up. I remember that in late 2017, when bitcoin reached its ATH, a lot of ponzi schemes appeared, from bitconnect to hextra coin, regal coin or one coin... This year, I think more and more scammers will come. Beware investors.

And at this moment, they also utilize the condition in order to get much money by deceiving many people, asking for donations and then embezzle money. It is really bad. Scammers are always everywhere and they even use this pandemic to raise more money. People must make their own diligence when donating and donate only to the legit ones in order to avoid wasting money.

We really have to be wary of such actions, usually such fraud is sent via Email or Telegram. If we find something like that, we should report it to our friends, so we can jointly block them.  because actions like that are detrimental to us, they want to get money easily.

I still do not know what people are thinking. Scamming people with donation reasons? Where is their humanity? I know that money is everything. But, should they use this kind of fool way? So sad to know scammers take advantage of this Coronavirus outbreak situation.

Scammers take advantage of the current situation. Since many people become the victim of Covid-19, scammers try to ask donation from crypto users. It makes sense because there are some real crypto donations right now. They want to take advantage of it!
