How Close is the Crypto Market to a 2017-Like Bull Run?

While things haven’t been the same since 2017, the crypto space seems poised to have an epic rise. The reason for this is because the markets are evolving. We no longer have the playful nerd-like form to the issues within but rather we have a mature and balanced approach to things.

Bull-run 2017 was driven by the wave of ICOs & ponzi projects like Bitconnect. Currently we only have 1 stabilized market, some clear legal regulations and 1 coming halving. I think BTC's mission this year is to keep the price stable at $10K instead of going up to $20K and then falling ...

The situation with the growth of the cryptocurrency market on such a scale as it was at the end of 2017 cannot be repeated. People then did not quite understand the cryptocurrency and the cryptocurrency market. Many thought that the price of bitcoin would rise for a long time and suffered great material losses. Now I do not think that there are many who want to invest in bitcoin, if it grows significantly in price. The lessons of 2017-2018 are unlikely to be forgotten.

Today, the situation has changed a lot overnight. Therefore, I do not know what will happen next in the crypto world. But it seems to me that this year the bulls will come to us.

In my personal opinion, the Bull run that occurred in 2017, could be repeated this year, it could be next year too! The price of Bitcoin and other coins is very difficult to guess, but seeing the positive developments of the past few days, I hope everything that happened in 2017 can be repeated soon. We have waited too long.

The next six months, at most a year, will be very important for Bitcoin. After the last halving, which took place in May, there is a very high expectation of an increase in its price, which should take place within a year after this event. In fact, the same effect of the rise in the price of bitcoin that occurred in 2017 should be repeated, but on a larger scale. The price of bitcoin this time is expected to be at least one hundred thousand dollars. Will Bitcoin live up to these hopes next year? This will largely determine how the cryptocurrency market will develop in the future.

Why do people keep saying it will rally to 100k? Where did that idea come from?

If we compare 2017 with current conditions, it may not be the same and there will be many differences over time and technological developments. Because the digital crypto currency is increasing in the years and also the development of technology. if you expect the same bull run it may not be the same.

If the uptrend of BTC is much bigger and always that good as these days, I am pretty sure that probably next year the Bullrun really happens. But for this year, reaching $15k again will be very promising and also great enough, moreover, it has been a long time not getting it in good uptrend

I think now it's starting to approach a bull run again because I see that cryptocurrency price conditions have started to turn green again, marked by an increase in the price of bitcoin.

Personally, I really expect that the previous bullrun really can happen at the end of this year. however can it be? The price of BTC is still sideways right now and we can choose for the further expected to have an uptrend in the crypto market.

While the price of bitcoin is growing too slowly and this growth rate is very different from what it was in 2017. Then the price of bitcoin grew very quickly and rapidly. Now this is not yet observed. We expect the halving effect to appear and the last months of the year would be a very good time for this. Although there is still time, however, we can already see that there will be no repetition of such a growth in the cryptocurrency market, as it was in 2017, this year.

I think the current situation is almost the same as in 2017 but of course, there should be differences. I think we are on the right way to go to the bullish in Bitcoin price, also for altcoins prices. Bitcoin price already improved gradually since the very beginning of this year. And now the price of Bitcoin still continues to move up. I really hope that the price of Bitcoin can be the same as in 2017 or even more than the ATH. It is very happy if we can see a new ATH of Bitcoin.

Of course, with good news that can trigger an increase in cryptocurrency prices like what happened in 2017, because so far the price of cryptocurrency depends on price developments.

If Bitcoin continues to rise for some time as it did on the last day, then by the end of the year it could reach its previous price record of $ 20,000, which it reached in December 2017.  Over the past day, its price has risen by more than one thousand dollars.  If last night its price was about $ 13,780, now it has increased to $ 14,853.
At the same time, ethereum has not yet shown a similar price increase.  In the morning, its price climbed to $ 404 and during the day rose by only two dollars.  Hopefully, ethereum will perform well in terms of price in the near future.

If we compare the indicators of the cryptocurrency market in 2018 and today, then the difference between Bitcoin and Ethereum is too big, since in the second quarter of 2018 Bitcoin was just over $ 12,000, while Ethereum was at $ 800. Today we see a completely different picture in the ratios between Bitcoin and Ethereum, which you stated in your message. Namely, ETH is half what it should have been. It seems to me that you need to wait for December 1, when the Ethereum 2.0 update occurs.

Is it true that bullrun in 2017 will happen again this year?
Indeed, currently, the market has increased quite significantly. However, it looks like it will not reach such a bullish time in 2017. It might happen but not now, it might be in late 2021 or early 2022. WHo knows

The events of the growth of the cryptocurrency market, as it was in 2017, will no longer be repeated, and it cannot be.  The situation is now even much better than it was three years ago.  There are many more positive factors at work for cryptocurrency today.  However, we cannot say how this will turn out in practice.  Many random factors also play a role here.  So we only need to watch the events and prepare for the rise in the price of the cryptocurrency.

Exactly! There had been much more than these and that is why the fall was huge after the feast ended. This maybe the reason why bitcoin is making a move wisely this year.

It doesn't matter who is the president of the United States, the head of the Fed has already announced a large amount of financial support for business, such measures are increasingly devaluing the dollar and are a clear signal for buying bitcoins. More and more investors are investing in bitcoin, providing a bullish market trend.

There is a saying 'the wheel spins', this applies to Bitcoin at this time, Slowly the value of Bitcoin again shows its sharpness.  If we remember again Bitcoin touched the highest price, namely in December 2017 where its value reached USD 19,423.58.  Many factors influence the Bitcoin price, but this year I believe the Bitcoin price will slowly increase but will not touch the same number as in 2017.

To me, 2020 somehow reminds me 2017, because both then and now the cryptocurrency market was only growing and bitcoin is already approaching the mark that was reached in 2017 and now perhaps bitcoin will can reach new heights and in general I hope that all top cryptocurrencies will be able to update their past records, because now is just a good time for this.

The day is not so far. We do not go back to 2017 but we can recover. Now Bitcoin price is going to the moon. Today is the remarkable day i think because after a long time bitcoin reach at $16000. It is the first time to reach $16000 approximate 3 years later. I believe that the price of bitcoin reach over $20000 in the end of this year.

Looking at the current market, it seems that 2017 will bring an end to the new market.  The price of Bitcoin in the market in 2017 was $19000+ dollars.  But now the price of the coin has crossed 16 thousand dollars.  I think the price of Bitcoin will exceed $20,000 this month.

Bitcoin is already close to stopping. And further price growth will continue only after a correction of several thousand dollars.

I think that you should pay attention to the bitcoin capitalization, which begins to rise very strongly. if such rates continue, that in the coming weeks or a month, capitalization will double. This indicates a large-scale attraction of investment funds in bitcoin, and this, in any case, should be accompanied by an active growth in the Bitcoin exchange rate.

It won't be all of them this time like what happened last time. Like over 100 years ago  when the auto industry took off. There were 100's of car companies that were created and only a handful survived. The same thing happened with the railroad industry.

We've already seen that the bull market this year has far outstripped the crypto growth rate of 2017. However, he cannot repeat the previous growth. Then, following bitcoin, almost all altcoins grew in price, even those that were actually useless in this market. Now the cryptocurrency market has become more mature. Therefore, only promising altcoins grow significantly in price.
Bitcoin has almost tripled in value this year compared to 2017, and it is possible that this is not the limit. In the future, we also expect another good altcoin season.

i think this year's bull run is quite different from 2017 and also very similar, it is similar in regards to btc pump and different because this time only selected alts are pumping really hard while others are just struggling to move unlike 2017 where anything in blockchain move with speed.

The cryptocurrency market has changed a lot compared to 2017, when the world just learned what cryptocurrency and bitcoin are. Then, thanks to the hype, the entire cryptocurrency grew at a breakneck speed. Now it's time to recognize the crypt and bitcoin in particular and blockchain technologies . The whole world is implementing and using digital technologies. Payment systems and banks recognize the advantages of cryptocurrency. So now bitcoin and crypto are on the rise and I think this is the beginning of a bullish period.

According to many analysts' forecasts, the whole of 2021 will be bullish and Bitcoin should show better results than it is today. Of course, altcoin will also follow the leader, which will lead to the success of many of their cryptocurrencies. In any case, the current cryptocurrency market is very different from what it was in 2017-2018, because today it is more stable and has a fairly large support from large companies and institutional capital.

In 2017, the cryptocurrency market grew from autumn to December 17, when bitcoin rose in price to $ 20,000. However, along with it, almost all altcoins grew in price.
This year, the bull market is expected to be more authentic and today bitcoin has surpassed the $ 60,000 mark, which is three times its 2017 price record. In contrast to 2017, altcoins are now showing very different price increases and this indicates that the market is becoming more mature. Investors do not buy, as before, all indiscriminately and this is already better.
However, while ethereum shows rather modest price results. Now her price is 1880 dollars and this is very little for her in this situation. Apparently, without addressing the issue of low transactions, ethereum will not grow much.

The fact is that after Bitcoin dropped from $ 20,000, the bull market still continued, because its a.t.n. Ethereum reached $ 1,400 in early 2018. In addition, $ 20,000 for Bitcoin was impulsive and short-lived, and its real price was at the level of $ 17,000 - $ 18,000.

But I would not compare the current cryptocurrency market with 2017, since at this period we have a more stable market and most investors are focused on the long-term perspective, and not on short-term profits, as it was in 2017.

You have created a very instructive and important topic. I had no idea about it but I benefited a lot from reading this valuable post of yours. I didn't know how close the market was to the right-wing stinginess like in 2017. I got a lot of ideas after reading the posts of some senior brothers. I hope many people will get a lot of ideas from this topic.
