- Bitcoin has had a very volatile trading history since it was first created in 2009. The digital cryptocurrency has seen a lot of action in its fairly short life. Bitcoins initially traded for next to nothing. The first real price increase occurred in July 2010 when the valuation of a bitcoin went from around $0.0008 to $0.08 for a single coin. The currency has seen some major rallies and crashes since then.

In 2019, bitcoin saw a new resurgence in price and volume, rising in fits and bursts to around $10,000 by June. However, as history tends to repeat itself, by the end of the year, the price of bitcoin fell back down to around $7,000 and has been fluctuating since. In 2020, the high of bitcoin capped out at just under $10,000 and hit a low of about $5,000 with the market crash in March. It's been steadily recovering since.

- The price reached a peak of nearly $20,000 per bitcoin in late-2017 and has since fluctuated quite a bit, averaging at about $8,000 as of May 2020.

I think the chance for new ATH in 2020 is rather small, it is likely to happen in 2021. I think it is already predicted by some experts that the chance to have a new ATH in 2021, after 1 year since the halving day is happening in 2020. It is the same as the previous halving, the significant increase just happened after 1 year.

I think you are right, after the halving event, it may take a  distance days to come before another all time high(ATH) to happen.
Anything can happen in crypto, may be it may sooner than anyone expect. Crypto has not been predicted perfectly and another ATH may be very difficult to get.

We can't guess what is coming for Bitcoin, whether it's falling or the price soaring, maybe we can only enjoy short-term trading for now.
I am also more comfortable trading short term at times like this because the movements of altcoin x Bitcoin tend to be slow.

Regarding the price of Bitcoin which could become ATH between 2020-2021 it can only be guessed and the results we can look forward to in December 2021. LOL

I don't think anyone can tell what will happen in 2021 with the way things are going now.

Absolutely no one can tell. Opinions are free but the actual scenario is different. However 2020 is not yet over so there are more chance to win if ever rapid increase will come.

The year 2020 has not shown that bitcoin will experience ATH because if it is seen from the history of bitcoin after halving it is likely that in 2021 there will be a big increase that occurs in bitcoin. This year it is not certain that bitcoin will reach ATH

There is still plenty of time to reach the highest price and all that requires a process. After halving Bitcoin will experience a price decline when seen from the history of how many years ago when bitcoin experienced halving. After that the price will slowly increase.  2021 - 2022 most likely bitcoin reaches the highest price

The waiting time for the rapid price growth of bitcoin can be significantly reduced given the onset of the global economic crisis, which may manifest itself in the near future. Perhaps for this reason, bitcoin did not fall in price immediately after halving the reward to miners. We expect that bitcoin and other decentralized cryptocurrencies should prove to be a reliable refuge from the inflation of ordinary currencies during such a crisis. In this case, due to increased demand, bitcoin can reach new price heights much earlier than a year after the next stage of the reduction in remuneration to miners.

2021 in my opinion, because the coronavirus this year will be a year for recovering when all this pass price will start to getting up bu not enough to bull run, so I bet the ATH for the next year, for sure.

I assume that Bitcoin ATH probably happens in 2021. It needs time to move up again after the halving day and Covid-19 issue. We all believe that there will be a big rising in Bitcoin price because of halving. However, it should take time and not suddenly.

I am expecting the same, it must be 2021 or the year after the last halving. Though I am expecting some good run within this year 2020 which can be making some surprises for many. The current pandemic started as bad news for Bitcoin but it is now turning the tides around.

There is still higher chance that we see Bitcoin at all times high in 2020-2021 . According to my analysis , Bitcoin price agian touch $20K till ends of 2021 . If this is happens everybody generate a good profit From this movement.

I think bitcoin will have a higher price. But now there is no possibility of high value addition. But I saw in one report that if Tump wins the election. Then btc will make the price $100k. But bitcoin is not managed by any person or organization. The price of bitcoin depends on its users. However, between 2021 - 22 is likely to be  $20 - $25k.

The bitcoin halving has been done in May 2020. But until now the price of BTC is still stagnant and sometimes sideways in the rate of the price. However, if we are talking about the Bitcoin ATH as what we have in 2017 or early 2018, it may be good to see in 2021. Hopefully it can really hit ATH again at least $20k

I support the opinion that Bitcoin needs time to reach ATH, so the possible time for ATH is in 2021. After halving day on May 2020, it should have time for correction, so we cannot expect much for the rising in 2020. I assume the reasonable time for ATH of Bitcoin is in the next year, 2021.

If it is talking about bullrun and ATH, I think that BTC will be so hard to face its ATH again in 2020. So far, the highest rate only could reach around $10k or maximally $11k. After halving, this is different from the previous halving. It needs more time to increase. For, it is also in line with the pandemic. So, it is quite difficult to consider.

We should wait till 2021 for the best time of the big rising in Bitcoin price. I think the chance of ATH in 2020 is rather small because the price seems to increase slowly. It makes sense as the price of Bitcoin improved quite much before halving day, so it needs time to break from growing and will continue to grow up again in the next year.

Every time peoples will think that the next year of the BTC year and BTC will make a great pump but this is not possible and so many investors will withdraw their money just becasue of the market lowest price becasue so many peoples will buy the BTC at the high price and now the BTC is at low price and also the other coins in the market is at low price and this is not good for the crypto business. We need a bull.

Now for the cryptocurrency, a pretty good situation is developing for the possibility of its price growth. The fight against the spread of the coronavirus pandemic has greatly weakened the economies of all states and this is likely to lead to large inflation and the onset of a global economic crisis. If this happens, then a decentralized cryptocurrency can rise sharply in price as an anti-inflationary financial means. Therefore, I expect a good growth of the cryptocurrency market this year, closer to its completion, and its growth should continue next year.

Yes, base on the economic situation caused by dreaded corona virus pandemic world wide, the crypto economy may has a higher developmental growth in near future. Bitcoin may become the anti-inflationary financial means to settle for the current world economic crisis that is looming.

We have to wait for the higher price of bitcoin. All of you wait for growth and be careful. Invest your bitcoin in a good project. Or put it in a wallet knowing the privacy relationship. You have to wait to get something good. Bitcoin prices are likely to rise in the coming days. So everyone is holding.

Bitcoin’s potential to hugely increase in value means that many buy Bitcoin as an investment, to trade on the market for a higher price than it was bought for.Only the market can determine its price.

I agree bro,  I think crypto currency  has not been predicted.  After halving Maybe we will  see the bull market  at the next year 2021  or the end of this year.  But We must stay to learn the market of cryptocurrency.

For me, it may be difficult to predict in 2021. However, I am trying to read a lot of information that develops on social media. So I personally in this year 2020 try to get the low price of Bitcoin.

Indeed we do not know that in the year 2021 Bitcoin price will be more now or later. But my prediction Bitcoin will increase in 2021. However, I hope you decide to invest based on your personal analysis.

It seems contradictory, you said it is unpredictable but you tried to guess the possible time for the ATH. IMO, I think it is no problem to predict the time but we must understand that there is no guarantee about it. It can happen, also can fail to happen at the same time. So, there will be always two possibilities.

I think it is too early to tell whether Bitcoin will rally much by the end of the year, perhaps in a few months the situation will be more clear.

I think the BTC bull run will begin before end of this year actually I'm not expect this year $20k or more I'm just waiting $15k because this is the first level of the bull run so next BTC will touch All Time High.

I don't think that ATH of BTC can hit the price this year. This crypto world needs enough time t recover and calm down in this pandemic/ So, any people are trying to have it as an investment. The price may be able to increase again in 2021. Let's wait for the further announcement.
