Title: COVID-19 pandemic & ICO projects in the health sector
Post by: MrSpasybo on May 19, 2020, 11:39:12 PM
The COVID-19 pandemic is changing the entire world: from supply chains in the trend of globalization to the transparent functioning of the WHO. However, I am more interested in ICO projects in the health sector that we have been supporting. I tried searching for a few names from ICObench, and I found nearly 300 projects, including skychain, Docademic, CoinHealth, TrustedHealth, MediChain, AMCHART, Ambrosus, Medicalchain, ATFS Project, Solve.Care ...
So in the end, are these projects really useful & beneficial to the health sector like what they promised in WhitePaper? What are they doing at this time when the world is in need of a radical change in how to cope with diseases to protect people?
I have just heard about a project of the world, their idea is to build a network for sharing information on research, testing, preparing vaccines & optimizing treatment for patients. This makes me think about the power of blockchain technology in connecting & sharing. It would be a lot better to have a blockchain project do it right now.

What is your opinion on this? Do you know of a blockchain project in the health sector that is making positive contributions to the community? Please let us know.

I have seen some projects related to Covid-19. But I am not sure if it really can help people to deal with Covid-19. However, it is always nice to see some people having good intentions to others. So, let's see what will happens to those projects.

Well, I think about it as a book. It is good and beneficial.
Basically government wants this idea as long as it is not against the Constitution but as long as the gain is not clear they will not try their luck to unstable one. Using blockchain method in health sector is promoting the dynamic paradigm from traditional method into advance. The end is not yet to come so there are more time to think and decide the adoption of blockchain step by step until conquering the world in terms of paradigm shifting.

I did not see any ICO projects to work in this crisis moment nCOVID-19. You have given projects list that all are end but i think they are not working in health sector like this time. Actually most of the ICO come to income from market and after the end of ICO most of us did not follow them or their activities. There is no academic body that they can control those ICO company to follow their roadmap also. So everybody work freely.

The promise is free ^^
Some projects have had successful ICOs & are still operating and developing, but they rarely count COVID-19 as one of the objects they need to cope with. Perhaps this pandemic was too large, at an international level, and they feared they would suffer the consequences of announcing something.

Medicalchain project As one of the pioneering ICO projects in the medical field, Medicalchain is making a difference from its competitors because Medicalchain's Decentralized Platform allows the exchange and use of medical data. securely, quickly and transparently using blockchain technology. This platform is built using a dual blockchain structure. The first blockchain layer controls access to medical records using Hyperledger Fabric. The second blockchain layer provides ERC20 tokens on the Ethereum platform, which controls applications and services for the platform.
