I think that USDT has the potential to overtake Ethereum on the coinmarketcap ranking in near future because it is a stable coin that is well known in the crypto ecosytem. USDT has gain a lot of popularity among big imvestors, and with any just small negative speculation on the crypto market, many of these big imvestors tend to move to tether (USDT) market to reduce market risks. This is also applicated to be other crypto enthusiast especially traders. USDT has become a big stable coin know doubt about this, it has the capacity to bring down Ethereum from the number two position on the coinmarketcap any day.

These triggers are stable altcoins and when created they are certainly backed up with a valid USD alias the correct USD.
But remember if the USD back is not correct then it is certain that the price of Tether will decline so sharply and this will have a negative effect on Tether.
So, to win the EThereum market at number 2, the better it is to create Tether quickly, but there must be another backup that is valid, aka not lying!
