Title: Which is the best blockchain platform?
Post by: MrSpasybo on May 29, 2020, 10:24:16 PM
Blockchain platforms allow the development of blockchain-based applications. They can either be permissioned or permissionless.
There are the best blockchain platform at the moment:
1. Ethereum
2. Hyperledger Fabric
3. Hyperledger Sawtooth
4. Hedera Hashgraph
5. Ripple
6. Quorum
7. Hyperledger Iroha
8. Corda
9. EOS
10. OpenChain
11. Stellar
12. Dragonchain
13. NEO

From above list, I know Ethereum, Ripple, EOS, OpenChain, Stellar, NEO. I know others too: Waves, CS, UTN, TRON.
Which platform do you think is on the list above, or from your understanding, the best and the most potential for the crypto community?

For me Ethereum network is the biggest and best blockchain based platform while there are also other good projects in your list for example, i have good hopes with xlm and ada to do really well in the future.

Ethereum is the best Dapps platform that developers often use for new projects now, but why don't you put Waves on the list.
I think Waves is still good for investment choices and for new project developers with the Open blockchain protocol and development toolset for Web 3.0 applications and decentralized solutions

One advantage of waves is that the waves become the fastest blockchain, this I have already posted on the following link https://www.altcoinstalks.com/index.php?topic=66681.msg396748#msg396748

ERC20 (Ethereum) blockchain in my opinion, still becomes the best blockchain platform. It has a big community, used by most projects of crypto. It is also an easy and low fee. Moreover, there are many other advantages of Ethereum platform.

No doubt that Ethereum should be the best among the platforms above. It can be easily seen from their popularity, reputation, ranks, and functions. Since many ICO projects chose Ethereum platforms in 2017, Ethereum became to grow very fast. Most of crypto users prefer to buy Ethereum and invest in this platform massively at that time. And it was proven that Ethereum really improved well till now. Even if the price seems just increase not too significant, it possibly rises high once the launching of Ethereum 2.0 begins.

For me, the Ethereum platform has always been and remains the best. Therefore, many projects are based on this platform, and this platform is also very cheap.

There is no dought that the Ethereum blockchain platform is number one for now and its smart contract is still very popular in crypto world. But beside Ethereum I like stellar most and I think this blockchain platform can be a number one in the future. It has the potential to do this. I like its fast transaction and that is better than Ether network.

Of all the mentioned blockchain, I only trust and believe in Ethereum. Ripple is not really a decentralized network, while EOS is unfriendly to use. Stellar, Waves, Dragonchain and NEO are fallen behind in terms of development and popularity. The rest are too un-wellknown to talk about. And the piece of shit Tron, it's better to forget about it.

I still choose ethereum as the best platform. Ethereum is the king of ICO / IEO, many tokens are built through the ethereum network.
I think potential platform are Waves, Neo & Tron.

For me still ethereum but hedera hashgraph is also a good competitor given their partnerships and team behind it. Projects must show off some work to prove that they can replace ethereum being the top altcoin. Even EOS cannot compete with ethereum.

Yeah, I have read your cmt there. But I don't think Waves is the fastest blockchain at the moment. Because there is Credits CS platform blockchain with expected transaction speed of 1 million tps :)
However, at the present time, Waves are more popular than CS in the crypto community. Waves has the advantage of being easy to use, has its own exchange, hope that there will be more successful projects on this platform.

At the moment, this is of course ethereum blockhain, because we all see what popularity and demand ethereum blockchain has and I think ethereum blockchain will have no competitors in the near future.

If we look at the history and the real function in every sector so far, Ethereum is the best platform. Ethereum has effected big impacts in crypto space till now. And the Ethereum platform can be the most useful one in crypto ecosystem till today.

I will say that Ethereum si the best platform with its ERC20. I don't know too much about the others. Neo may be good and ofers lower few. But ethereum still becomes the best with high community also

Obviously Ethereum is the best blockchain platform. I even never ever heard about Hyperledger Fabric, Hyperledger Sawtooth or Hyperledger Iroha. Maybe that't their problem: unpopular. EOS, NEO, Stellar, Dragonchain and Waves are old and well known blockchains but in comparison with Ethereum, they become underwhelming.

^ I agree with some members above saying that Ethereum is the best blockchain platform. There are several points of view or considerations. The function, popularity, and easiness are the most important factors to decide Ethereum as the best blockchain platform.

NEO? The Chineses Ethereum?
Your idea is great. I just read a bit about NEO and saw the speed of the NEO network up to 10000tps, much faster than ETH 15tps. NEO also uses an interesting consensus protocol - dBFT.
If China really accepts and implements the idea of applying blockchain to its economy, NEO will be the first choice. It is true that this blockchain cannot be underestimated.

Ethereum is known well all the time. It is normal if people stated that Ethereum as the best blockchain platform. I also think the same as them because I usually use this platform every day. I use and invest my money in ERC20 tokens, it means utilizing ETH platform.

If we base on the use case or the real-world application? The ripple blockchain is the best for cross border payments because it is one of the fastest blockchains in the industry with lesser Transaction fee compared to others it's quite useful for that purpose, Your list of blockchain platforms are all good in their different purpose and functions.

In my opinion, Ethereum is one of the biggest coins after Bitcoin, the price volatility is less than other small coins, moreover, Ethereum is the development platform for many other coins, tokens, not to mention businesses. Industry, brands in the world are using Ethereum Blockchain like Microsoft

The best blockchain platform is the Ethereum platform. The Ethereum platform is used by people all over the world. We know that Bitcoin is one of the most popular coins in the coinmarketcap. Bitcoin is the number one position in the world in the coin market. And right after Bitcoin we see Ethereum. Because Ethereum's position is after Bitcoin. Ethereum ranks second in the coin market cap. So we can say the best said system is Ethereum platform.

Despite ethereum fee now is expensive, still it is the best platform used all over cryptocurrency ecosystem. Since then ETH shows potential at the same time promising. Same as today ETH potential remain it could be permanently now and the years to come.

That's right, so far ethereum is still the basis of the exchange of all new latcoins which of course was chosen because it clearly has its own appreciation for ethereum. It is inevitable that a very attractive investment is in bitcoin but many investors are also looking to ethereum. because the two tokens seem to need and support each other.
