Title: Transaction fees
Post by: Andri937 on June 12, 2020, 03:15:28 PM
What do you think about transaction fee? Sometimes it really pisses me of.somedy, In the perfect world, there will be no comission at all. But frankly, I see that some exchanges have already decided to do that. I found a post, that it could be highly likely that the big part of the exhanges will do that soon. https://this Url is blocked due to spam/en/blog/free-transactions. Sometimes, I gotta admit, that I can spend relatively a lot of money on the comission. I hope it will change somehow. I don't know how the other users can put up with it. Is there any legal way to avoid the fees?

Try to check mempool for Bitcoin before sending transaction and use native segwit addresses.
For exchanges use one with lower fees.

Transaction fees is part of crypto trading, it has come to stay because that is the way exchanges and miners are making something for themselves, though we have some exchanges with outrageous fees but we also have some others with reasonable fees, you can make your choice.

Uou have the opportunity to earn more by making trade in different exchange platform. But what is the benifit of exchanger? On of the best way of exchanger's earning is to take Commission. But the rate of commission should be logical.

Transaction fee is a part of every trading. You are using the platform for trading, you are getting a lot of buyers and sellers. Who have arranged it? The authority has invested thousands of dollers to establish it. So, what is their benefit?  Commission is one of the major way of their income. Fees and commission are not the matter to avoid in the trading bit it should be reasonable and accessible for all.

Base on my personal experience in numerous cryptocurrency exchanges that I have used, The transaction fees are changing drastically depends on the situation of the network. so each exchange has its own mechanism, on how to adjust the TX fees base on any situation.

Each Crypto exchange does have its own mechanism in determining transaction costs, sometimes we find cheap exchanges but sometimes there are also exchanges that have very expensive transaction fees.  If I myself, if I find an exchange that has high transaction costs, I will leave it, unless it is forced.

We all know that transaction fees are one of the main sources of revenue for exchanges, and without them, the exchange cannot operate or develop user protections. It is unrealistic to expect it to be completely free, instead we can find an exchange where the transaction fee is not too expensive or use the exchange's coin as a means of payment, for example, BNB on Binance.

I have heard of some exchanges with zero cost, but I have never used them because I do not trust them.

Best way to avoid high transaction fee is converting you coin into Litecoin, it has very low transaction fee and Litecoin transactions confirm 4 times faster than Bitcoin transactions

One thing I don't like with transaction fees in cryptocurrency is that it is based on supply and demand. Right when you are needing to transfer that can be the time when the fees can go astronomical. This is not good when are comparing cryptocurrency with other means of transferring. Anyway, we have no choice but to embrace this reality and hope that soon this can be rectified. I just used TrustWallet in transferring .1 Eth and it cost me more than $2. At that rate, that is not good.

That's the thing with Centralised exchange prices are fixed at owners discretion. Take example like Hitbtc eth and btc withdrawal is huge. However With a DeX you pay only your mining fee because you exchange your token in the block and it lands in your wallet. A project INJECTIVE PROTOCOL is going ahead to build a border less 2nd layer DeX that will DeXs
