WhatsApp has announced instant in-app fiat payments for over 120 million users in Brazil.
WhatsApp has premiered fiat electronic payments on its platform, with Brazil becoming the first country to experience a nationwide release.
According to a statement released by WhatsApp earlier today, users who have Visa and Mastercard debit or credit cards from Banco do Brasil, Nubank, and Sicredi can now attach instant payments to their messages.
There’s an unspecified monetary limit imposed due to AML and CFT concerns. Additionally, WhatsApp users in Brazil cannot make more than 20 in-app transactions per day.

Now this is even WhatsApp which has a faster development compared to LIBRA which has such a large FOMO.
This LIBRA in my opinion is very embarrassing at all because LIBRA has a large beritas and did not succeed in launching, even in defeat by WhatsApp who only silence in the news for digital money.
Does anyone here feel disappointed about LIBRA?

You'd think Libra would get out of development and regulatory hell after it got redesigned (https://www.forexbrokerz.com/news/facebooks-libra-proposes-multiple-single-currency-stablecoins), but apparently that was not the case.

Whatsapp is a popular social media with a fiat electronic payment system that will add tangible benefits to its users. I don't think Libra has succeeded with regulatory issues so lauching is still pending, will the Libra project continue?

I think Brazil is not blind to this LIBRA work because up to now LIBRA has not had a positive effect on itself.
Libra is still in the planning stage and Brazil is already working with WhatsApp which has value in cryptocurrency (if the WhatsApp project is successfully launched before LIBRA is present).
I think the race from LIBRA and WhatsApp will continue in the future even though both of these are the results of Facebook's education.
