Title: John McAfee's Ghost Coin is accepted in Hong Kong
Post by: MrSpasybo on June 29, 2020, 01:46:49 PM
"Ghost Coin, the privacy-centered crypto by popular crypto enthusiast and anti-virus developer John McAfee, has started to be accepted as a method of payment at vending machines in Hong Kong.
A recent announcement on the project's official Twitter account claims Ghost has teamed up with crypto payment platform ivendPay to make the crypto compatible with over 60 vending machines in Hong Kong."

I was really surprised at the incredible success of the Ghost project, a project started with WhitePaper allegedly plagiarized from PIVX. And I also began to doubt the credibility of the ivenPay crypto payment platform when they decided to accept a coin at position 278 on coinmarketcap for the vending machine system.

What do you think about this and the future of GHOST? Obviously the price of GHOST is rising :)

Perhaps the Ghost team really has enough enthusiasm and economic potential to be accepted in Hong Kong.
As you said, the price of Ghost has increased and may continue to increase in the future, but I do not think it can reach a large market right away.
I still think it's just a joke by McAfee.

We are living in an era where what started as a joke can be taken as a serious project later. I am sure that maybe (just kidding) GhostCoin would have its last laugh to the bank moment soon. Who knows what can be next?

He is a smart guy and knows how to manipulate things in his own favor and with this update it seems like he has used his influence to make his privacy coin go boom which is already doing good in the market.

I fully agree with you on this. He has such a bad reputation now, anyone who believes him is not familiar to crypto at all.

Its a great news that Hong Kong accept the Ghost coin and i hope like the Hong Kong other counties will also accept the crypto coins and like this the crypto is going to be legal in all over the world.

Well we can call it talent, I think McAfee is real good anf influential person. I know many people have been saying his a shiller well thats actually true and we cant do anything about it. But this ghost token of his, are literally sky rising. I am no fond of hype but seriously those who take advantage of this hype probably are now ripping off profits.

I can confirm that the GHOST token is now well valued. A little over a month ago, 1752 of these tokens appeared in my wallet, I did not even understand where it came from. I don’t remember that I participated in similar ICO bounty campaigns earlier. In etherscan.io it was stated that they cost more than 2700 dollars and are traded on eight exchanges. Through IDEX 1 I transferred them to 11.4 ethereum.
I was surprised to read here that this is a John McAfee token. I am grateful to him for his tokens.

You are being misleaded by the title. Ghost is accepted by ivendPay, a lessly-known payment platform which has some partners in Hongkong. I even doubt if those ivendPay's partners use Ghost as a method of payment.

It's just one side of the problem. Some people get profit but a lot of other people lost their money for this shit coin. It's really not worth it. Ghost's price increases without any motivation like a HYIP. This kind of news will even boost its price higher. Investors!, be smart to keep your money.

I also can't find the place of the Ghost token in the economy, everything drawn in the WhitePaper is not reliable because it is the work of plagiarism. Perhaps it is because of McAfee's popularity, both positive and negative, with the marketing team's efforts that created that surprise.
I also do not believe in the value of the Ghost token. I have no advice on buying or selling it.

Apparently, the Ghost coin of John McAfee has so far been temporary in popularity. Of course, I could be wrong, because I do not know what useful function it performs. After a while, when the heightened hype subsides, its real popularity and value will be seen.

Well, this is just the beginning of the Ghost coin, let watch how this Ghost coin will perform in the near future. There has been well known project coins that had started like this but ended up at nothing, that is, as per the value of the coins at the long run. Despite the popularity of John McAfee and his influence on the crypto community, I think it may not last long before the Ghost coin performance begin to slow down.

I think the crypto market is all about the continuous demand and supply principle playing out on the daily basis and not on the popularity of the owner. Let see how this Ghost coin perform.

my trust in McAfee has been lost...
since a few years ago almost all coins/tokens promoted by McAfee ended up being junk, I predict this coin will be like that.

Thats how the hierarchy of investment works. People who knows a great timing earn from it and those who are riding it and losing is those who dont have perception on timing. Likw, they will bought on the time it is increasing, on trading this is bad cause there will always be price retracement. Problem is people dont listen to us, but just believing profit will come as long as some big names annouced good about certain project like ghost. I honestly believe this will go down pretty hard so beware guys.

Agree with you, there are still a lot of coins that exist in the market long, some thanks to the true value in the economy, others thanks to the popularity & temporary acceptance.
With Ghost coin: I would be surprised if it succeeds.

Like any other crypto project that has no real use case and utilization, Ghost token was temporarily achieved some gains because it was promoted by a popular crypto influencer like McAfee, soon after the hype was gone many investors will slowly felt the effect of a pump and dump project. Even the Ghost token acceptance in a vending machine as payment in HK will not erase the truth about that project.

I don't know about this coin but this coins accepted in Hong Kong? Seems this coins has potential and it will grow for more in the future. More vending machines will add ghost coins as payment method.

Seriously? I don't believe at all if that shitcoin is accepted in a country like Hong Kong. AAre they really know about McAfee? I think that we cannot believe in his prediction and we always lose the profits if following the coin. That is why It is interesting enough to see that the coin is listed

I don't think and I don't know why there is still many people interested in din this kind of person? He always says about the bad thing o crypto, it also blames the crypto but what I see is not working well. They need to research more about what he did and also what is he doing with the whitepaper.

Amazingly, Ghost Coin, the proof-of-stake cryptocurrency led by John McAfee, can now be used in vending machines in Disneyland Hong Kong.

What you say is very true, is it because he is a public figure so that what is said can be heard and read by many people, which results in a lot of speculation arising from his words. because I have seen several times he stated things that are not proven about crypto and still provide a basis to suggest that what he says is certain.

I can tolerate what was said and it could be with a specific purpose, because he knows that many are his followers, at least what is said will impact that particular purpose which we do not know.
