Title: US Investor Backs up Telegram’s Claim of Completing $1.2B Refund

Documents shared with Cointelegraph confirm that Telegram refunded some American TON investors 72% of their investments about a month ago.
Telegram, the creator of the failed Gram (GRM) token and the Telegram Open Network, or TON, was well into investor reimbursement weeks before a court in the United States ruled that the firm had to return $1.2 billion.

A U.S.-based TON investor tells Cointelegraph that he got his 72% refund from Telegram in late May 2020. According to a bank statement seen by Cointelegraph, the investor received $7.2 million out of the original $10 million investment through a wire transfer.

I am sure that soon we can be seeing Telegram back in the world of cryptocurrency. It got the best platform that may withstood the test of time and it got so many supporters all over the world. Just exclude USA and American citizens and Telegram can be off to go.

Agree with you, I think that with the large crypto community operating on Telegram, even without the TON network, a new stable coin issued by Telegram will also receive wider acceptance than all stable coins currently available in market.
Technically: I still hope that with their power, Telegram will develop or create an optimal solution to expand the capacity of  blockchain network.
Hope they will be more thorough in legal issues.

I do not know how even such big companies fail to comply with their local regulators especially if you are in the U.S, what happens after all this is that expectations get shaken out and investors really suffer in the process.
